Wonderful day at the Park today to be taking some of the pictures I wanted to take of my daughter. Luckily the weather and location helped.

Another point of view of the Tulip Eye in Queen Victoria's house. I hope you like it. This is my picture 2999 on Flicker, so I'm starting to think which one will make my picture 3000.

A quick trip to the London Aquarium let me capture this cool picture of the clown fishes. It really makes a difference when you bring your camera with you.

My sister said that this tree looks like it's giving you the middle finger (branch on far right). Can anybody else see it?
This was a summertime trip to Patriarch Grove. The smoke was so bad in the Owens Valley you couldn't see a mile. So we thought about getting high... high in elevation to escape all the smoke from the nearby wildfires and It worked.
There was just a tiny bit of haze at 11,000 feet high and it felt good to breathe fresh air again. My sister and two nieces liked walking around the ancient trees.
One of the pictures from yesterday's full moon. It was really big and I was able to get this one from the window of the hotel. It took awhile until I got the correct exposure and I hope you like the results. Nikon D7000, 18mm, 2s with tripod.
Thank you all for your appreciation.

A close up photograph of the tunnel at Ness cove Beach. This is the only way to gain access to the beach but it is well lit and fairly wide. Stories link this tunnel to smuggling but it is very doubtful that such an impressive structure would have been created for this purpose.

This is a portrait of a remarkable resilient flower growing in the grove of a tree stump, swaying to the autumn winds.

Two ruined engine houses have been partly restored by the National Trust. They were built for a 40 inch pumping engine (west) and a 20 inch whim engine (east). Unusually whim faces away from the shaft. The count house is now a climbing hut for climbers visiting the Bosigran cliffs. Down below, before the stream cascades into Porthmoina Cove, are the ruins of a tin mill with a wheelpit. The deep adit can be seen emerging at the back of the cove. The mine was worked as part of Morvah and Zennor United, but produced little tin.

I didn't know where to start with my travel pictures so I start with a great long exposure of the city of Oia or Ia. It's a small town on the island of Thira (Santorini - Grece) and it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. From where I'm standing (the Oia castle) you can easily see the sunset (just something unbelievable to see) but if you wait long enough and turn your view point towards the city you will see this amazing view. During sunset time it's just impossible to stay there with your tripod but once the sunset is over, you have the whole place for you with other fellow photographers that will be trying to get the same capture. This is a 13s exposure with my 50mm at F11.

This is a reworked image I posted some time ago. I have been re-editing photos to put on Viewbug, and it's easier for me to upload from Flickr than from my computer, so all of the reworked, resized, and higher dpi images are being uploaded here first. If they look familiar, they are! I hope you still enjoy them!
