Set the alarm for 6:15am. Checked the forecast which didn't look good. Raining and dark outside. I'll have another hour in bed. Wish I didn't. Arrived just a little too late for the spectacular light and rainbows. I did manage to grab this though. Not a great blend. Tricky.

A view over some rocks at Mogareeka Inlet. A lot of debris still around, mainly from floods.

I live in a tiny condo but the view somehow makes up for the lack of space..

I stop here often and think of you

We could say its just another view

But you always liked the ordinary

Something that was familiar

Gave you a particular comfort

It didn’t have to be new

You loved stopping by the wayside

I think it was your way of saying

Please just forgive me

For what I am about to do

How many of us have left our heart's by the wayside? Sometimes we just need to pause for a while. Wayside's and hedgerows hoard emotions just like anywhere else.

This view is to be seen on the way to Wilmington in East Sussex, UK. And I have stopped here often.

Morning light over the mist at Mjøsa, the largest lake in Norway.

View looking north from Devil’s Canyon Overlook in Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. The overlook is located just north of the Wyoming State Line in Montana. This photowas taken in the evening.

A few weeks back, on what started out as a misty morning, I decided I'd rush up to London to see if I could take advantage of the mist for some architectural photography. Well, I'm not really someone that is very good at rushing anywhere and so it goes without saying that by the time I got into London the mist had all but gone. There is very slight evidence of it here in the distant Canary Wharf architecture on the right and those buildings on the left but that was about as much mist as I got that morning. The view here is of the HMS Belfast, a second world war Royal Navy warship permanently moored in the Thames as a tourist attraction. In the background of course the always photogenic Tower Bridge.

Salar de Talar is a large salt flat located in the high puna of northern Chilean Andes, at an altitude of 3,950 m. It is part of a series of salt lakes and salt flats located at the foothills of a chain of volcanoes stretching along the eastern side of the much greater Salar de Atacama. The salty flat is bordered on the west by Caichinque and on the east by Cerro Medano, is a mountain with striking shades of grey and brown, which contrast nicely with the sparkling white of the salt flat's surface. On top of that, colourful ponds fringe its shores. Salar de Talar is a part of the Central Andean dry puna ecoregion, which in this zone is characterized by tussock grass vegetation.

Couple looking down to Sarajevo from the White Fort

Yesterday and today were very sunny days, and in my opinion the first ones in which the sunshine actually felt warm.

Even if the sun is still quite low and the shade covers the garden very early, today I decided to have lunch outside and enjoy a wonderful cold beer!

Isn't it funny how easy we can feel content ;) ♥

Aboutme

Delicate Arch is one of Utah's most famous icons. You see images of it everywhere: on magazine covers, computer screen savers and license plates. But photos do not adequately convey the stunning beauty that hits you as you come over the ridge and see the arch in person for the first time.

Utah National Park situated along the Colorado River features more than 2,000 natural sandstone arches including its most photographed Delicate Arch. Arches National Park's landscape has been forming and changing for millions of years. It was made a national park in 1971 being previously named a national monument in 1929.
