After hundreds of steps you finally get to Petra's top spot, the Monastery where you can enjoy an awesome view.
This autumnal panorama was merged from 2 single shots taken from the tripod while clouds were partially covering the massif of Zugspitze and Alpspitze which are an important part of the chain of the mountains of Wetterstein.
Tiny Mangroves - Islamorada, Florida Keys
These are the same trees but from a different view. I stood on the casting platform of the boat for this shot.
We took a long walk up Bowfell in the Lake District. To be exact it was 18km! Way too long a walk for me these days!
This drone photo was taken when it was minus 24 degrees, Fahrenheit. It is a view from our cabin location looking towards the Wrangel mountains. Zero in on the photo and you can get a good idea of what living remotely is all about.
Bamburgh Fields View, over the Rapeseed and the Phacelia crop, with Cow Parsley in the foreground, I hope it's cow parsley I didn't really look.

Opened the curtain this AM and this was my wildlife view. Always puts a smile on my face to start the day.
View from tiny wildlife sanctuary at end of E. Roanoke St towards the Olympic mountains, the first time I have been to this spot. Drawn in ink on Bockingford toned watercolour paper with wash and white gouache added later. Not entirely sure I should have added the colour, but there it is.
A different view of Dunstanburgh Castle to add to the collection of shots. Weather was mild but wind picking up across the water, smoothed out with the use of the Big Stopper 10 Stop Filter

Ludwik Grohman Factory – a historic factory building of the "Ludwik Grohman Industrial Plants Joint-Stock Company", built in 1899, at 22/24 Wincentego Tymienieckiego Street, in Księży Młyn (Priests' Mill) in Łódź as one of the most important cotton industry facilities of the "Grohman Family Empire".
A post-industrial facility transformed into a modern, high-class office and conference space.
This view looking eastwards from an overhead pedestrian crossing on Jalan Ampang (Ampang Road) was captured using the in-camera panorama stitch feature of a Sony Nex 6 camera.
This tree-lined road has increasingly been taken over by office buildings and shopping malls. One hold-out is the Dharma Realm Guan Yin Monastery, a Chinese Buddhist Monastery and Temple; it is just left of centre here.
Kuala Lumpur; October 2022
(There are some flaws in the camera's panorama stitch, especially noticeable on some of the moving vehicles.)
