// Warmly devoted to Oscar Hevia, who has the fortune of living in that wonderful corner in the World.
The light spawns its silver light over the sea.
Pacified, the waves magnify the silence
of the feeble steps of the day
venturing into their habit
of increasing noises.
The skin gets over and is assuming
the splendor of the sun which already lavishes
its luxury of colors and reliefs,
the blue sea, the greedy mirror
in which the sunny sky watches itself
and in its swinging the sound of the waves
suggests a long trip to memory.
Each day renews its memory, old days
in the time unit which is the life.

The Winter Peace of an Old Boat
Some journeys don’t end — they simply grow quiet.
This old boat, resting on the bank of the Korana River, feels like a soul that has travelled far, seen much, and finally found a place where it no longer needs to move.
After years of motion, noise and restless days, I found my peace beside the river.
The Korana keeps flowing, bringing new boats, swans and fishermen.
But along its shore, time softens.
Silence blends with birdsong, water breathes, and you can finally hear yourself again.
This boat is not abandoned.
It is resting.
Just like us, when we find our harbor.
On samo odmara.
Kao i mi, kad napokon pronađemo svoju luku.
Asturias, Spain
From the viewpoint on the rock jutting into the sea, you get an impressive view of the cliffs of the western Costa Verde. The cape is located on a cliff that rises up to 80 meters above sea level. Wind and waves have left their mark on these rocks. Seabirds including gulls and cormorants nest on the cliffs.

The Iglesiona, or Cantabrian Dome, is an impressive geological formation in the depths of the cliffs of Cape Vidío, surely the largest cavity I have ever visited, natural or artificial. It is an enormous natural cavity located in the same vertical as the Cabo Vidio lighthouse on the Atlantic coast of Northern Spain, which can only be accessed at low tide. With its dome more than 50 metres high (hence the name) and its three mouths open to the sea, being inside it is an experience that fills the senses. To give you an idea of the proportions, note the people in the background, bottom left and centre.
