Timelapse footage of the noctilucent cloud display last night (June 2nd/3rd) from one of the two cameras I had running at the time.

The first proper display of the short season for these clouds, (the previous night they were also visible, but only briefly and a bit of a let-down when they disappeared shortly after). Hopefully last night is a good sign for the next few weeks.

I created this AI video inspired by Gods of Nemrud: The Royal Sanctuary of Antiochos I & the Kingdom of Commagene by R. R. R. Smith, along with the stunning photography of Ahmet Ertuğ. One image in particular—the limestone head of a God sitting stoically among the fallen debris—was profoundly impactful. The rich backstory of this ancient culture is very fascinating.

The video weaves ancient imagery with a contemporary AI aesthetic, while an Indo-fusion musical score by Sean Dinsmore's Chillums at Dawn Remix-- Mangaiam- adds a distinctive, atmospheric layer. Together, they create a unique and immersive experience.
