I had some ideas of characters to make with my new Knights of Ren parts... turned out both of them followed a theme from one of the_purister's (on IG) 5kfigbarf entries: video game assassins. So I made a couple more related characters (though I am not particularly familar with any of the games except TFU), and here we are!

A very very amateurish attempt to video this barn owl, hopefully any future videos will improve with practice.
Those damn beautiful 1x2 VHS tiles made me do it, attempt an old video store that is. I'm basing this on my childhood local shop: tiny and dingy. Not those bright and orderly Blockbuster stores no, I'm talking really old carpet, dim lighting and videos just everywhere. Old Hammer horror movies playing on the television in the corner. Yessir, that's the shizzle for me.
Not super happy with this first attempt, it's ok but I think there's a lot to play with. Camera angle, lighting options. Maybe swapping out the black of the back wall for something more readable?

A few months back I had the chance to be in an actual music video. The band is MisterWives and lucky for me they were shooting the video in the Philadelphia area. Friends that shoot my high end video productions were in charge of creating the story as well as shooting the full music video.
They asked if I would like to play the "angry" dance coach while they asked Todd who was in their first music video is he would like to play the washed up dance coach. I figured since I was going to be on set hanging around for hours at a time I might as well bring my camera along to capture BTS candid photos.
The band had no issue with me capturing photos of them and just went about their day as I took candid images. The only thing I wish could have been different is that someone could have been shooting photos of me while I was "acting".

I am sure some people will wonder why am I uploading full res images without watermarks, the answer is simple. I want my images to be seen. I want them to be seen full res and at their best quality. I am not looking to sell these images and even if I were, posting them would not hurt the ability to sell them at a later date.
It was a blast being in the video and spending a few days with the band taking their photo. Check out their latest music video below.

It is a genus of about 500 species of flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae. Members of the genus are known as buttercups, spearworts and water crowfoots. The familiar and widespread buttercup of gardens throughout Northern Europe (and introduced elsewhere) is the creeping buttercup Ranunculus repens, which has extremely tough and tenacious roots. Two other species are also widespread, the bulbous buttercup Ranunculus bulbosus and the much taller meadow buttercup Ranunculus acris. All three are often regarded as invasive weeds. Buttercups usually flower in the spring, but flowers may be found throughout the summer, especially where the plants are growing as opportunistic colonizers, as in the case of garden weeds. The water crowfoots (Ranunculus subgenus Batrachium), which grow in still or running water, are sometimes treated in a separate genus Batrachium. They have two different leaf types, thread-like leaves underwater and broader floating leaves. In some species, such as R. aquatilis, a third, intermediate leaf type occurs. Ranunculus species are used as food by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including the Hebrew character and small angle shades. Some species are popular ornamental flowers in horticulture, with many cultivars selected for large and brightly coloured flowers. Buttercups are mostly perennial, but occasionally annual or biennial, herbaceous, aquatic or terrestrial plants, often with leaves in a rosette at the base of the stem. This is the next track under the band name Eventide Rise that I am in. It's about venues and music and arts that have been shut for so long. Hopefully things might open more, but for how long with everything that is going on. *Stock image used for the cover, which is meant to be the audience. Be sure to turn the sound up. I feel like I'm giving up a personal secret by posting this, and the secret is how easy it is to get great bird photos at the Alligator Farm. This is not great video (you can see part of a thumb in one clip and part of an index finger in another) but when it's all strung together you can get a) an idea of the enormity of numbers of birds that there are in this one-acre (0.4-hectare) swamp and b) get your ears assaulted by the cacophony raised by all of the hungry young birds that are waiting in the late afternoon for their parents to return and regurgitate their dinners. Yummy, eh? So, enjoy the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine, Fla.
