The Victory Column is a monument in Berlin, Germany. Designed by Heinrich Strack, after 1864 to commemorate the Prussian victory in the Danish-Prussian War.
The column carries a bronze sculpture created by Friedrich Drake in the form of a female figure, the Victoria. She holds in the right a laurel wreath in the air, in the left a field with the Iron Cross. Her helmet is decorated with eagle wings. Victoria is known in Roman mythology as the goddess of victory, it corresponds to the Greek mythology of the Nike. Both are shown winged.

During my trip to Berlin I visited a lot of places and monuments.
This one is called Victory column and is a major tourist attraction in the city that offer a great view of the city.
When you go out from the metro station Tiergarten you see this 67 meters tall column.
I made a long exposure of 60 seconds.
