All gave some; some gave all.

I did my 4 years and got out. I often wish I would have stayed in. Hind sight is so much better..;)

It's okay if you can't remember who we fought. Just remember who fought for you

Originally called the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge, because it connects the two towns across the Susquehanna River in south central Pennsylvania, this bridge, constructed from 1929-1930, is still the world's longest concrete multiple-arch bridge.

Today is Veteran's Day in the United States, a federal holiday observed annually on November 11 for honoring military veterans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans, and is distinct from Memorial Day, celebrated in May, which honors those who have died while in military service. Veterans Day in the U.S. is celebrated on the same day as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other countries.

This shot was taken several years ago at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, near Holly, Michigan. Thanks to all who have served. May we never forget their sacrifices.

Thank you to all of those that put in the work, sweat and tears to keep us safe.

we thank you, and as always,

we pray for peace.

Happy Veteran's Day!

A salute on this special day to our veterans, past and present, who sacrificed for America and Canada. Happy Veterans Day and Canadian Remembrance Day!

May we never forget. And may someday peace reign and rule forever (one can dream.....).

This old veteran still managed to cruise by with the rest of the squadron to roost for the night. Hats off but I think it maybe the last season for this one. Looking on line it says they live for several decades in the wild. So this guy maybe older than me. Will keep an eye out for this old soul of the sky.

A tribute to America's Veterans.

I recall a commentary David Brinkley did many years ago from Arlington National Cemetery. He said the next President who decides to send Americans into harms way should make the announcement from Arlington.

Thankful for ALL VETERANS

THANK YOU for everything you do for our country and our freedom! Today and every day we thank Veterans everywhere for their service! There aren't enough words to show our gratitude for all the troops who served our country. To all Veterans out there, we honor, respect, and support you!

We celebrated at Kens home with a nice dinner. Brian our son, 6 years in the Navy and Ken served in WW ll. Ken's holding his WW ll book that Dave's brother did years back for his father.

A veteran GP38-2 led the CP G13 to Searsport today, in the form of CP 3108. Mismatched numberboards, worn paint, yellow pilot stripe, and the golden beaver all add character to this unit, setting it apart from the trailing GP20C-ECOs. After a mainly cloudy chase south, it was nice to get some sun as they worked inside the yard limits at Searsport.

We Take The Time, To Say THANK-YOU Today !!!

Veteran "W Class" tram 854 is seen clanking across the La Trobe Street bridge on a Route 30 service to St Vincent's Plaza. The W Class trams are increasingly unpopular with Melbourne residents, and as such are relegated to minor routes and peak hour services.

Happy Veterans Day to all the Veterans and my father in law Ken and Brian Christiansen.

It's important to take a moment to thank the veterans. Their valor and honor made this country what it is.

Thank you.

To our men and women in uniform, past, present and future, God Bless you and Thank you!
