This is a slow-flowing river, part of the Nukari rapids, it is not frozen yet. Finland.

Between our four seasons are transitional periods, which are often a farewell to the old and monitoring the phenomenal birth of the new season. Now is the time between winter and spring when it can still snow a lot and on the other hand the old snow melts when new snow falls on top of it. The air is humid and foggy. The view from the river at the beginning of December when winter arrived, in these weeks at the end of March, is the same. I would photograph it again if possible. Fog, soft colors, something is clearly visible and something is completely blurry. Just the way I like it.

 

ICM photo, one exposure, in post-processing I added some color and Orton effect.

Really wonderful nature!

 

The lake has an average surface area of 17,891 km² (excluding the islands). Its north-to-south length is 219 km and its average width is 83 km; the average depth is 51 m, although it reaches a maximum of 230 m in the north-western part. Basin area: 276,000 km², volume: 837 km³. There are around 660 islands, with a total area of about 435 km².
