The Appenzeller Sennenhund is a medium-sized herding breed that is tri-color and almost squarely built and balanced. He is muscular and agile and makes a good driving, watch, guard, house, or farm dog. Due to their versatility and willingness, they excel in agility, obedience, herding, and search and rescue.
24th November 2020:
Now who knew it, sardines get their own special day. Mind you I'm not surprised they are delicious on toast, in a sandwich or in a salad. I could eat a lot of them and they contain Vitamin D which we all lack in the Winter months.
I had actually finished our last tin, but Graham kindly got another one when he took Rufus for his first walk this morning. One so I had something for lunch, but mainly so I had the props for today's photo. Info linked -

Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.
this was probably the hardest photo i have ever done (in terms of editing too), but i suppose it was sort of worth it :) i won't go into details, but it was very very difficult to keep my balance when shooting this!
Rachel Poxon made a facebook page for my photography. i don't really approve, but like it or whatever if you want to :D

The vast expanse of golden sand, the breathtaking sunsets, and the tranquil atmosphere. A harmonious blend of modern comfort and natural beauty, living in a desert modern condo is an enticing option. KraftWork makes ths possible with the Condo release @Access. This home is so versitile, for this post I used a single unit however if you're not so keen on landscaping the original product comes with a walled area for easy and immediate placement, without the need to spend any time creating a complemetary garden. It could also be used as a store in an urban setting, just as easily.
The blinds are also from KraftWork and available at the mainstore.

Whoot! New camera! and if I may say, the quality is sick<3 Way better than my old one! :D
So anyways, this is for model madness.
Name: Amélie Derose

Style: Simple, but always with a fashionable edge.
I chose Amélie because she is very versitile, and she has very natural makeup so I can edit different looks on her = D
The dragonfly proved to be too heavy for the venue, so I replaced it with this fish that was bought at our local art fair. The artist is versitile and also the source of a fishy cartoon hanging which is located in the "grandkids play area " /den area of our apartment. I like the way that the sunshine hit this fellow.

The Graphics Processing Unit of a well known console, this chip is capable of taking crystallized data and breathing life into worlds bounded pretty much only by the imaginations and creativity of programmers and artists, and rendering them for the real world to be interacted with.
I love the idea that in photography we try and crystallize and capture the real world. I like that the concept that the GPU is kind of the reverse of the camera.
Did want to do some tech shots for MacroMondays this week, didnt really get any I liked.
Saddly this console was destined for the bin, having expired, I was suprised to see that the major chips, CPU and GPU have a mirror like finish.
In shot is the extremly powerful and versitile GPU with its daughter 10 MB eDRAM catching some light on the PCB.

For the first time ever DRD is on the hunt for creative bloggers ! (it doesnt have to even look super pro, as long as you are creative and blog with passion :D )
DRD is extremely versitile in styles /themes our creations can go from a gothic decor item to a fantasy headdress to an entire themepark , we do not have strict rules for our bloggers because we understand we do some niche things , creativity is much needed :D , but we would like to see atleast 1 blogged item out of 4 to 5 DRD releases, If you are interested please you can apply here :
good luck !
sharing with blogger buddies is appreciated ^^

================
Set 60229 came with one small robot-rover that would fit into the cargo bay of the shuttle-rocket (the one on the left).
I think it is designed along the lines of the Mars rovers we have send out in the last decades; a semi-autonomous vehicle with 6 wheels, an observation mast (here with stereoscopic cameras I think), solar power panels and something to drill/scoop/scratch the surface.
After not liking the big rover set (60225) it came as a surprise to me that this new line had small rovers that I did like!
It offers quite a bit of room for modifications, so I gave it a quick try. Seat and control panel for a human driver instead of AI unit. The drill was replaced by a laser drill (of course). And I stuck a proper communication dish on it. I think the basic design of this Rover offers as much possibilities for modification as the old tiny grey rovers from Classic Space. Just stick on diggers, claws, lasers, power packs or wherever you like, it will work…
Another dots challenge entry. I came to create this card after I visited the Scrapbook & Cards Today Blog and they had on there the cutest paper flower creation and so I thought I would try my hand at it. It was so fun to make this card; I could have made so many of them it was that much fun. I may have gone a little overboard with the dots, but who doesn't love dots. For the grass, all I did was curve one of the scalloped stamps to create the rounded effect. I love versitile stamps and Hero Arts is so good at that. Thanks for looking.
This simple little gingerbread house is my first ever successful attempt. Yay! I have been wanting to make a Gingerbread house for so long, but for one reason or another, it just never worked out. The cookies would be under baked or burned, the house pieces would fall apart, my royal frosting skills were not up to the task, etc. Also, my visions were WAY TOO GRAND in the past! This year, I found the simplest possible pattern I could on the internet. It's just six pieces and doesn't even have a chimney. I used a recipe with shortening instead of butter (knowing I was not going to eat this) and everything went perfectly! The mehndi skills came in handy for piping the decorations.
Lessons learned: If you make the door red, give it at least 24 hours to dry before piping white trimmings; the red bleeds! Also: gumdrops are wonderfly versitile. You can squish them up and make things like the wreath over the door and the doorknob out of them.

Nikon D800 + Nikkor 35-70mm f2.8D. A great versitile lens with prime quality yet the ability to go closer (70mm) or wide (30mm). It was the original workhorse lens of wedding photographers before Nikkn released the 28-70/2.8D and then the current 24-70mm f2.8. In comparison the 35-70/2.8 is an absolute bargain!

BLOG CREDITS:
So here's my model! I think she can really rock high fashion and be really versitile.
Name: Ornella Tella Bianchi
Age: 19
Height: 6'2
Ethnicity: German and Italian
Current Home: California
Current Job: Student
Favorite Fashion Designer: Chanel
What she can bring to the competition: Ornella can bring versitile to the competition. She can work photoshoots, since she knows her angles. Her favorite thing to do is photoshoot.
BIO-
Ornella was originally born back in Italy, but later moved into America. As she grew up, she loved reading VOUGE, and she's always wanted to be a model. She's been on go sees, but is always being rejected due to her height. She hopes this competion can take her up into the next level where she wants to be. ;)
Hope you guys like the photo and hope I get in! :3
Leather is lovely, especially soft leather and this old shabby chic looking zip-up leather jacket is very versitile and I can wear it with a bit of attitude or even to dumb down the classy look of this Boden pleated blue dress.
CALLED(3/8) combined score
So I wanted Mel to sport something edgy so I gave her bangs though I had to admit it was tempting to give her exstentions as a make-over on someone with short hair right away ppl wanna grab the exstensions but no instead she got bangs and volume :D
Melrose- So this week I got a little make-over as I was already a vision and I'm really happy with it as it's a versitile style.
PS: Thank you again for being understanding about everything I truely did my best :)

Lord & Lady Kenilworth at Kenilworth Castle - UK Leica Wedding Photography
The wedding was at the end of August 2013 but i'm only now able to publish my photos.
I shot >90% of the day on the Leica M9 + Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.2 ASPH ii lens
It was the first outing for the 35/1.2 lens and I was amazed how versitile it was. I didn't take the lens off the camera once all day! I only used the D800 later in the day for some telephoto speech shots and some 14mm photos (at the time I didn't have my Voigtlander 15mm Leica M mount Heliar).
Leica vs DSLR for wedding photography?
See blog here - Nikon D800 vs Leica M9 -
I am a lot more fortunate than most people as I am exactly who I want to be. It's very fluid too as male dress is very much like a straight-jecket with little room to innovate whereas being feminine and loving clothes and being versitile means I can dress the way I feel. I used to make art but I don't miss it as I am able to put it into life, I guess I'm still an artist but I haven't got the time or patience to draw any more especially as photograohy is easier and more direct.
From the Empire State Building observation deck.
3 Exposures, if i remember right they were, 2 second, 8 second and 20 seconds, but i set my camera to aperture priority mode, applied +-2ev autobracketing mode and let the camera do the rest.
I was using one of those "GorrillaPod" bendy tripods, and 1/2 the long exposures were ruined because i didn't keep it steady enough, press the capture button very gently and then just leave the Camera alone! GorrillaPods are great, but you really have to be very careful when you need the camera to be as steady as possible, as they are designed to be versitile more than ultra-steady.
The Empire state building is worth it, but only at Sunset/Night. I came early hoping to catch the sunset, which would have been ace, but unfortunately the queues were so bad (1.5 hours) that by the time i had battled my way through security, then the queue for tickets i had completely missed it and had to settle with night.
I took a fair few good photos though so im happy.
When I first decided to have a bit of fun as Jojo and see how I would evolve I never realised how versitile it might make me be for I have a look for every mood and every occasion. It's probably a good thing too for if I didn't enjoy emploring the many sides to me I'm sure you would have all got bored with my postings long ago. Of course I can't help getting older but I hope not only am I getting better at it I keep becoming more feminine which is my goal.

anymore questions comment below :)
The advanced mobility fast attack mech was born out of the need for a more versitile troop suport vehicle and after its first introduction to battle it more than proved its worth.
Lophodytes cucullatus, male.
A local celebrity at Radipole lake for the last 6 years, this was the perfect subject to try out my new lens, the canon 100-400mm mkII. I've been a big fan of the original for a long time but always felt it suffered quite a bit at full zoom and wide open. These shots were taken at 400mm f5.6 in awkward lighting and have all turned out, in my opinion, very acceptable. I've even applied less sharpening than usual.
Even after just one outing I am more than happy with the improvements they've made to this extremely versitile lens.
Radipole Lake, Dorset.
I have several of these figs earlier in my photostream. I call them Larryfigs and it is my own design. The idea was to have a figure with more humanlike proportions when building slightly above minifig scale. Using the minifig helmet and going for a slightly cartoony look for the trooper made me settle for the 1:26 scale. Quite a good scale if you want to make a more detaild model of for instance the iconic speederbike.
JNY A Line dress with hot pink cardi, patent belt and stilettos. This blk dress is so versitile, look for other pics with other bright colors
The Houndstooth is my VERY favorite...So versitile....
I had a hard time getting a good photo as it is so rainy and yucky here and we have no sunshine!! So I tried to get a close up of the bottom gems.

IDF Caterpillar D9R armored bulldozer, Our IDF 70, Israel
דחפור די-9 משוריין של חיל ההנדסה הקרבית, תערוכת צה"ל שלנו 70, ישראל
IDF Caterpillar D9 armored bulldozer (nicknamed "Doobi", which is Teddybear in Hebrew) of Israel's Combat Engineering Corps.
Used by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) Combat Engineering corps the Caterpillar D9 armored bulldozer is a versitile, dependable, durable ans well-protected platform. Used in combat and in counter-terrorism operations, the D9 is cited by military experts as a key factor in keeping IDF casualties low in the war against Palestinian terrorism.
This specific model shown here is the CAT D9R up-armored with ballistic armor plates coat, reinforced ballistic bulletproof glass and slat armor (also known as cage armor or bar armor). The Israeli armor kit proved itself effective against terrorists and anti-tank weapons. The D9 withstood IED belly charges of 200 kg and 500 kg (more than 5 times the mass of high explosives needed to destroy a main battle tank).
In the skilled hand of the Israeli Combat Engineering Corps the D9 became the nightmare of terrorists and a key factor in keeping IDF casualties low.

MG TA Midget (1936-39) *Engine 1292cc S4 OHV
Production 3003
Chassis Number TA1881
Registration Number ERA 433 (Derbyshire)
MG SET
www.flickr.com/photos/45676495@N05/sets/72157623797586658...
The TA arrived in 1936 minus the previous generations versitile overhead cam engines, now replaced by pushrod overhead valve units as part of the Nuffield plan for future MGs following the takeover by Morris Motors. The MPJG engine simular to that of the Wolseley Ten produced ample power, but the potential for tuningwas limited by the head and porting, there was syncromesh on the top two gear ratios, 9 inchhydraulic brakes and the suspension was softer than on earlier Midgets. The TA was built on a new frame with wider track and a 94 inch wheelbase producing a car that was larger with more passenger room, larger fuel tank and a new pressed steel scuttle. Better performance than the P types but it did not make the right noises and had lost much of the Midgets sporty feel
*ERA 433
Was bought new by its long term 17 year old pwner, who used it for three years, before dismantling it and storing it for the next 3o years. Fast forward to Winter 1998-99 when it was given a complete restoration during which a 1549cc VA engine was installed in place of the original 1292cc unit (the original remaining with the car in pieces). It was then used regualarly
It was offered for Auction sale by H+H at their Chateau Impney, sale 9th December 2015 with a guide price of £ 20,000 to £ 25,000
Many thanks for a fantabulous

Uploaded with SECONDS to spare! My entry for the final assignment of th Strobist Boot Camp II.
Thanks to (from left to right) Osh, Max, Toby, Callum, Reece and Tim from Herts Parkour as it it thier skills rather than mine that have made this such a cool photo.
I wanted to take the "lets shoot pedestrians as transport" idea and push it a little bit further. Parkour and Free Running are all about discovering new ways to interact with your environment, learning not to be confined by the streets and alleyways in a way that cars are. With this photo I wanted to show how much more versitile and fluid the human body can be. This is a time when we need to look at alternatives to relying on cars (especially gas-guzzeling 4x4s like this one) and although a Traceur may not be able to run down the motorway at 70mph, in the city Parkour definitly rules.
Strobist info: Lots of exposures combined in Photoshop [Just looked at the thread, DH shouldn't complain, I I got the idea from Lighting 102 anyway!]. There are two lights on each person, both 580mkIIs triggered with PWs.

First off, I'm so sorry for the late results! Dx I'm terible and was waiting for Addison's photo.... I also planned a video out but, my computer crashed when I was saving it -______- So, the results will be up whenever everyone gets to see their judging And yes, I improved video making :p Anywho, let's get to judging! And it's ME talking but let Miku take it from here...
"So,you girls had a 4 photoshoots! One for CoverDoll, a recap on last cycle, your first/second page of your spread & one showing your movie acting! First up is Tabata!
CoverDoll: www.flickr.com/photos/bntmcycle1/7671144710/in/photostream
Wow! This is no doubt, your best photo to date! You are giving everything being a CoverDoll is: Fresh, Beautiful, Young. The editing is perfuct but you just sold the wrong product. Overal, I see a CoverDoll here! Which is what the theme was about!
Can You Handle Cinema?: www.flickr.com/photos/bntmcycle1/767094918/in/photostream/
Not really the best I expected from you but okay. The body language and setting choice fits perfuctly with the whole BGC themed story. The choic in wardrobe is stunning and shows how careful you decided. It's the face that doesn't make the cut and the face is very important. The eyebrows are nice but the mouth expresion isn't. It's just awkward. Overal, the photo shows alot of time and work in it which is great!
Cycle 1 Recap: www.flickr.com/photos/bntmcycle1/7597820116/in/photostream/
This photo is no doubt, a step-up from your Cinema photo! Everthing here works so well, I can already see this in the cover of VOGUE. Wow. What really makes the photo is the clips in your hair. They add many emotions to the photo! The only thing bad is that you were suppose to have water droplets on you which was one of the biggest requirements for the theme you potrayed.
Revolt Spread: www.flickr.com/photos/bntmcycle1/7594881944/in/photostream
You are very versitile which is great! The storyline & emotion you bring to the photo is great! I also like the angle, it gives the photo alot of slothing vibes.
Thank you Tabata. Up next is Addison!
Cover Doll: www.flickr.com/photos/pugglezrule/7659452000/in/photostream
I think this is a great photo! The pose is gorguoes and the clothing of choice match your eyes which is cute! And I see that the editing and hair taming has improved. But, the angle of your body & face ruins the photo. A side veiw would've done you justice. But overal, this is a step-up!
Can You Handle Cinema?: www.flickr.com/photos/pugglezrule/7847999578/
Not exactly what I expectd from you. I love how the storyline has alot to do with bullying which is going to be a theme but it isn't potrayed correctly in the photo. In the photo, all I see is two girls looking at each other and Tori is outshining you. I'd rather see the course of action instead of the begining. I do like how you look pissed off though! And the outfits fit perfuctly with the whole highschool theme. Overal, not your best work.
Cycle 1 Recap: www.flickr.com/pugglezrule/7601965262/in/photostream/
I love the photo! Yoiu capture a great awkward attitude here! Pose, face, everthing here is amazing and has that attitude I like! I just think the background should've been white but it works! Great job!
Revolt Spread: www.flickr.com/photos/pugglezrule/7688852982/in/photostream/
This is your best photo to date! Wow. I love how you went for a different road and made it fun and joyful! The girl-next-door attitude you have is amazing, the styling is the best part! I'm inlove with this photo, and so should you! Keep going this direction.
Thank you Addison, lastly we have Rochele!
CoverDoll: www.flickr.com/photos/mramerica2011/7659224036/in/photost...
You defenatlly pulled off eyes here! The editing is fantastic and I love how fresh you look. The only bad thing about the photo is that it's very dull compared to the others. Alittle more text about the product would've made the photo pop but, this is still great!
Can You Handle Cinema?: www.flickr.com/photos/mramerica2011/7663326200/in/photost...
Wow, I love the risks you take in the compitision! Instead of a straight face, you did a profile! I defenatlly see a top model here. The storyline suits the photo very well, great job!

I'm very amazed how you thought outside the box! I love the photo, but you didn't follow the requirements for the theme you picked: 7 Deadly Sins-Lust. Overal, this is a great photo but didn't follow the requirements.

I love the story but the problem with the overal performance for this them is that the 2nd photo doesn't have anything to do with the story. It is kindoff confusing. I do like the idea though. I loveeee the outfit(s) and emotions the spread has though so, I'll give you an applaud for that!
There's your judging! tune in for the results!
XOXO M.
Disclaimer: As with my previous ships, a lot of techniques were taken from Awe and Matt-Backward.
Real life Inspiration came from the british Tribal class and the Soviet Tashkent class, though it is based on no particualr existing ship.
The Adrmiral Grau class took up the idea of a hyprid between a destroyer and a cruiser, called Rapidkreuzer. This versitile class of ships has two main roles: Scouting for the fleet, and serving as a lead-ship for destryoer squadrons.
It is named after Admiral Michael Grau, a 19th century naval comander (in reality Miguel Grau was Preuvian sea hero, called "the Gentleman of the Seas" even by his enemies).

In 1965 the Ford Trader bus/coach range became the R Series, the R192 was the 10-metre chassis and the R226 was the 11-metre chassis. One enthusiastic Ford customer was Excelsior European Motorways of Bournemouth. In 1968, Vernon Maitland the managing director of Excelsior wanted to show how versitile the R Series was by taking one on a marathon 13,897 mile trip from London to Bombay and back via Belgium, West Germany, Ausria, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran and the Khyber Pass. The coach used on this trip, was a Plaxton Panorama bodied R226, registation 190 EL. On board the coach were: Vernon Maitland Excelsior MD, Jim Feast Excelsior assistant Traffic Manager, Tony Sunderland Excelsior driver , Charlie Stokes Ford Fitter and Bert Smith Ford demonstrator driver. This marathon trip took 19 days and four hours to complete at an average speed of 41.2mph and achieved an overall fuel consumption of 11.8mpg. This coach completed 70,000 miles during its first year in service with Excelsior, which just goes to show that the R Series was a good workhorse if driven and maintained properly. This photograph shows 190 EL at the start of its marathon journey in 1968, I would like to thank the Ford Motor Company Ltd for allowing me to use this photograph.

A bit of a strange conversion, but if anything it goes to show how versitile the Beetle was
The VW Beetle went on to become world biggest seller at over 21,000,000 units sold, of all types, progressively modified and improved, and with numerous engines throughout the production run.
For 1965 a larger 1300 (1285cc) engine was introduced with 40bhp and an all synchromeshbox, a revised front end, greased for life steering joints and slotted wheels. From 1968, two speed wipers, dual circuit brakes with front discs optional and a collapible steering column.
In 1971 for the first time there were two different Beetles available. the familiar standard Beetle and a new, larger version, that differed from the windscreen forwards. The standard Beetle was now badged as the VW 1300; when equipped with the 1600 engine, it was badged 1300 S. he new, larger Beetle was sold as the 1302/1302 S, offering nearly 43% more luggage capacity, up from 140 litres to 260 litres
For 1972 models had an 11% larger rear window (40 mm ). 1973 models featured significantly enlarged "elephant foot" taillamps mounted in reshaped rear bumper

Well, I did it.
I purchased a Nikon D80 this week. I've been lusting after it for quite some time, and some of you may remember that I borrowed one last year for a few days from a good friend . . . after that there was no turning back.
My new baby is used, and I've bought just one lens so far ~ the 50mm f1.8.; I'll add a zoom lens, and something nice for macros down the road (gratefully accepting suggestions that won't break the bank).
I'm keeping my first love--my Sony H1. It's so incredible versitile and wonderful at macros! Plus it will take me a while to figure out all the D80's bells and whistles.
I thought the occasion called for a self-portrait, and this is the closest I've come yet :~ )
I've been incredibly busy lately with work and other responsibilities that have taken up most of my time, but hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in some more flickr time soon!
IDF Caterpillar D9 "Doobi" armored bulldozer
