Collage done inside a ruled, soft cover Moleskine; images are scans from books I had as a child (the background is the Dendera Temple complex in Egypt, the various minerals are from the DK Eyewitness Book Crystal & Gem); quote is by Sylvia Plath.
The other scan was bothering me night and day so I had to scan one where the bottom wasn't cut off.
Taken from underneath Kitchen Bridge, so low the punter had to crouch down. The Bridge of Sighs is in the distance.

Coastal Great Horned Owl or St. Michael Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus saturatus)
Range: Occur along the Pacific coast from southeastern Alaska south to northern California. They are all-year residents (non-migratory), except for some juvenile short-distance dispersion as they seek out their own territories.
ID: A dark, dull and somewhat greyish form with heavily barred underside. Feet fairly dusky overall.

Thanks to Jo for the advice and I have brought the exposure down a little and upped the vibrancy. I think it is better :) What do you think ?
A commissioned work. I have built two versions of a LEGO frog. This is the first version and finally the chosen one by the client. Soon the second version and my favourite. It will stay in my collection.
From Tandem Twin's "Animal Girl" series of well-endowed and wildly energetic animal-girl sculpts, previously available only as resin kits at events in Japan, comes this prepainted and completed PVC figure of Yamaneko Neechan (Lynx Girl) by Yamato.
This is the "Emerald" version, with green eyes, a black costume, and red hair.
