This set of photos is to verify how the section of Bread and Cheese Creek between Plainfield Road and Merritt Boulevard looked after 107 volunteers spent Saturday 11/6/10 cleaning it. I wish to think everyone who contributed their time to making such a fantastic change.

I wish to thank everyone who donated their time to make such an incredible improvement. Anyone can see the huge difference before and after the cleanup.

In total these dedicated volunteers removed 3.5 tons of trash and debris, 2.5 tons of metal, 21 tires, and 14 shopping carts. Some of the more noteworthy debris included thee bicycles, two boogie boards, a washing machine, a pool table, an industrial warehouse fan, a playpen, a seesaw, a bowling ball, a butcher knife, and a badly deteriorated, barely recognizable gun.

This monumental effort would never have been possible without so many incredible volunteers! Thank you, Thank you all!!!

I've been inspired by some of the awesome "street photography" on flicker but find I'm a little gutless when it comes to actually doing it, so I decided to wade into the pond with a bit from a yard sale a few blocks away.
