Lake Nahuel Huapi is immersed within the Nahuel Huapi National Park, which is the oldest of the Argentine national parks.
It was created by the Argentine government in 1934, on the base of the donation of 3 square leagues (7,000 ha) carried out by Francisco Pascasio Moreno for this purpose.
The park covers 717,261 ha, in a strip of about 60 km wide for about 170 km from north to south, lying on the Andes mountain range. The Nahuel Huapi National Park is internationally famous for its attractive photography. It is located between the altitudes of 700 masl and 3400 masl, it stands out for its representative ecosystems of the Patagonian Andes, inhabiting more than a thousand higher botanical species, and some 300 species of vertebrate animals.
Getting to know Victoria Island and witnessing the spectacle of the Bosque de Arrayanes is a pleasure that has been experienced by millions of visitors to this National Park but still awaits, with its intact navigation conditions, the next tourists who, like us, arrive to visit them.
There are several balconies to watch the sunset from hammocks or/and wooden benches, a deck to see a stream/sunset and the possibility of reaching the crystalline waters through well-made trails, a part of the recovered Atlantic forest and original.
The wi-fi works really well.

One of the seven cold water self-massaging pylons for tired legs and knee joints.
After climbing the peaks, I went down to the first camp, Macieira camp, to take a shower and self massage in the cold waters of the Sete Pilões waterfall.
In the first camp there are three waterfalls (4 km from the entrance) and the second camp (9 km from the entrance) is the camp for the trails and ascent to the peaks.

We had the option of renting one of the guest houses (the white house) fully equipped or the space in the campsite with an equipped kitchen area, bathroom with hot shower, laundry room, lighting a fire with firewood, seeing stars, Airbnb, etc. On the grounds of the well-structured and well-maintained property, there are several balconies to watch the sunset from rocking hammocks or wooden benches, a deck to see a stream and the possibility of reaching the crystalline waters through well-made trails, a part of the recovered Atlantic forest and original. The wifi works really well.

é oficialmente verão e eu não me canso desta luz. da doçura desta luz. às vezes contrasta com a realidade, mas está lá sempre a marcar presença, por uns breves, sôfregos minutos ao fim do dia.
it’s oficially summer and i never get tired of this light. of its sweetness. sometimes it contrasts with reality, but it’s always there, making a statement at the end of the day, for a few brief minutes.
