Brilliant new Nissan 35GT casting which for a basic Mainline almost has that semi premium look and feel about it. Still very much hot property in the UK where a lot of my collector friends still haven't found any! One of a few found recently at B&M Bargains. Mint and boxed.

La Merendera pyrenaica (sinónimos Merendera montana y Merendera bulbocodium) es una bulbosa de la familia de las Liliaceae, que florece desde Septiembre a Noviembre en pastizales y claros del bosque, desde el nivel del mar hasta los 1.800 mts.
Sus flores rosa-lila de unos 12 cms. de tamaño máximo con 6 pétalos, aparecen solas sin hojas, éstas saldrán a la primavera siguiente.
Es tóxica, con usos medicinales controlados en pequeñas cantidades.
Es un endemismo de la Peninsula Ibérica.
Es muy similar al Colchicum autumnale, al Colchicum lusitanum, al Crocus serotinus.......y aunque la gente les llama Quitameriendas a todos los Crocus, Cólquicos y Merenderas, existe una regla para distinguirlos y que muy amablemente me contó Julio Eiroa y yo os trasmito....

La Merendera nace directamente del suelo (sin tallo) y tiene 6 estambre bien bonitos y florece en verano.
Los Crocus tienen tallo y los estambres pues.....son muy diferentes...y 3.
El Crocus serotinus en sus hojas verás 2 líneas. En el Crocus carpetanus en las hojas verás 5 líneas. Este último puede salir en agosto, pero lo hace en zonas altas, casi alpinas, cuando se deshielan los últimos neveros en verano...
Hay un Crocus nudiflorus pero es rarisimo y sólo en el norte de Galicia...
De la familia Colchicaceae olvídate en Galicia, no existen.

Y es la misma especie que Linneo había bautizado en 1753 como Colchicum montanum, de ahí el lio enorme que hay con estas flores.....
Y para más inri la wiki está equivocada y clasifica las merenderas como Colchicaceae.
