London Transport ‘CO/CP Stock’ unit entering Liverpool Street station, on a Sundays-only Circle/District ‘inner circle’ service.
On the left is the bay terminus platform, and the front of the train is where there used to be a junction leading off to platforms 1 and 2 at Liverpool Street station ‘West Side Suburban’..
The CO/CP Stock were all withdrawn from service by 1981, and today (2024) there are four cars preserved..
The bay platform was taken out of use in around 1981, and today (2024) the tracks have vanished, and the trackbed is occupied by cabling, and a ventilator unit for the Elizabeth Line.. The buildings surrounding the track have all been demolished and replaced by new construction, but the signal box has survived.
Restored from an under-exposed original..

It was called "New Ontario" because the province's boundaries were extended northward (and westward) from what they had been in 1867. But about 1906 they were still far south of the present day northern boundary.

From the locomotive and the distinctive ventilators on the express car (3rd car), this is definitely on the Canadian Pacific Railway ... it appears to be in the 1910-1916 era.
In the photo we see a lot of new ballast being placed on the tracks. At that time the Canadian Pacific Railway were upgrading and solidifying their tracks, which had only been in place 25-30 years.

This fence ain't gonna keep that scurrilous Trumpvid-19 in nor out and sequestered to Pres. Agent Orange. I salute the efforts of us all social distancing from the Trump Crime Family and it's ilk. I see no reason to coronate the Trump Crime Family instead of awarding them terms in prison. Trump's and Jerod's daddies learned absolutely nothing in prison to pass on to their crime families. Maybe a blast from the past?
I could no longer social distance at home for the day but decided that I probably had not contracted Donnievid-19 yet, even while Boulder County cases keep escalating. I never stopped and talked to anyone on my trek. I will wait until Wednesday's senior moment at King Soaker's before shopping again. If I have not contracted Trump's corona by then, I must have dodged it one more time. As usual, I trekked out on the flats toward the Foothills for anything I may have missed by not thoroughly observing. I even backtracked as I wandered. I found this detail shot and my trek became a bit of release for me. Gotta do what I can while spring starts sprouting colors.
Pres. Agent Orange is fencing Boulder County for his Donnyvid-19 cases and this is it. Pick your side. What a present, after stealing 400 of the 500 ventilators Colorado was already buying. What a peach... er orange. Indeed, summer is coming and we can all drink boiling water. After all, Agent Orange stole our ventilators for his red states. Outstaters brought their virus to our ski areas but we may have peaked if we can ban the crime family. We have a stable working governor instead of Agent Orange.
I've seen many things everywhere along my paths on display in the Rockies. My day stretched out nicely as I travel back and found other hits on rural routes on my way home and some captures I liked. I hookied over to Mac Lake for a look-see and little look-found. Even this day is stretching on. With so many snaps in my directories, pictures are everywhere if I break my safe home distancing. I shoot door to door thumpers or gift them a bus tour to spring break in Mazatlan, Mexico. Texas is sueing CO counties for shutting out non-residents. I thought they seceded?

Alberton.
This suburb of Alberton near Port Adelaide was created in the late 1840s from land previously owned by the South Australian Company. It was named after Queen Victoria’s husband Prince Albert. Across Port Road the suburb of Queenstown, named in honour of Queen Victoria, was created in the 1850s. The District Council of Queenstown and Alberton was established in 1864. It was amalgamated with Port Adelaide in 1898. The first Post Office at Alberton opened in 1855 marking its growth into a settlement. A private school as operating here by 1857. The Alberton government primary school opened in 1892. This building still remains. It has gables each end and roof ventilators on the roof. The gables are highlighted with cement rendered finials on top, cement rendered cream painted lines across the gables and a large ventilation grill in the gables. Probably during the 1920s the windows were modernised but red brick crenulations still remain above the windows. The school now has a large Stephanie Alexander garden complete with flowers, frogs, ponds and edible plants.

This one is for someone really special. Because he still is an amazing friend after all we went through.
Hey, Eddi. Danke!

Montevideo's Rambla (water side promenade) at the end of Calle Guarnai in the old city is where this relic from the past is located - the Antiguo Respirador De Colector (Old Collector Respirator).
The Collector Respirator channeled offensive gases from the city sewer lines up and away from below ground much to the pleasure of the locals.
This is the last remaining ventilator stack and the city maintains it as a National Historic Heritage site.
A couple of kilometres away on Paraguay Street, there was a twin of this one, but it was in the middle of the route of the new south boulevard being built so it was demolished.
The city sewer network began operating in 1856 when a national law authorized Executive Power to contract the Arteaga company to build the system. The network was continuously extended until 1913.
My son AJ was in the hospital for two days of tests and to get a new ventilator. Every thing went just right. We are back home. So I made this one to add to my celebration of getting back home. I so dislike being in any hospital. So being back is a great feeling of being alive and well. I can now breath in just the joy.

Father and son collaboration
Our photographic art is a kinetic motion study, from the results of interacting with my son A.J and his toys.
He was born severely handicapped much like a quadriplegic. On December 17,1998. Our family’s goal has always been to help A.J. use his mind, even though he has minimal use of his body.
A.J. likes to watch lights and movement. One of the few things he can do for himself is to operate a switch that sets in motion lights and various shiny, colorful streamers and toys that swirl above his bed.
One day I took a picture of A.J. with his toys flying out from the big mobile near his bed like swings on a carnival ride. I liked the way the swirling objects and colors looked in the photo.
I wanted to study the motion more and photograph the whirling objects in an artful way, I wanted my son A.J. to be a part of it. After all, he’s the one who inspires me. When A.J. and I work together on our motion artwork, A.J. starts his streamers and objects twirling, I take the photographs.
Activating a tiny switch might not seem like much to some, but it’s all A.J. can do. He controls the direction the mobile will spin, as well as when it starts and stops. The shutter speeds are long, and sometimes, I move the camera and other times I hold it still.
I begin our creation with a Nikon digital camera. Then I use my computer with Photoshop to alter the images into what I feel might be an artistic way. Working with Photoshop, I find the best parts from several images and combine them into the final composite photograph. I consider the finished work to be fine art. The computer is just the vehicle that helps my expressions grow.
I take the photographs and A.J. adds the magic. It’s something this father and son do together. After I’ve taken a few shots, I show him the photos in the back of the camera. When the images are completed, I show him from a laptop. He just looks. He can’t tell me whether or not he likes the images, but he’s always ready to work with me again.
It offers me my only glance into A.J.’s secret world. We’ve built a large collection of images and I hope the motion and color move you as much as they do me.
A.J. inspires me to work harder to understand my life in the areas of art, photography, people, spirituality, and so much more. He truly sets my mind in motion and helps me find the beauty in everyday things.

The ventilator located directly above the bar at the Old Towne Pub had this dragon's head placed at the end. While it did look cool up there, it was also over 90 degrees outside, and the air circulation was little to none in that small, cramped space. I had to be careful in shooting with both my phone and my DSLR, because they were starting to overheat, and the batteries were losing their power faster too.
But, hey, the dragon's head did look cool!
