The brand new event Pandora Fair is opening on May 11th! In collaboration with Her Geek Spot and Scribble Squad Photography, Be My Mannequin? Pose Store will be attending and debuting TWO exclusive poses and a FATPACK containing both!
Here, I present the first of the two poses: The Die Is Cast. This pose was inspired by the story of the Fallen Angel known as Lucifer. The Die Is Cast is a unisex flying/hovering pose and so very versatile and will fit pretty much any humanoid avatar! With your purchase, you will receive the pose, a pose ball, and Lucifer's Sword (not shown in picture but can be seen in 3D as a DEMO at Pandora Fair! Trust me, you want that sword! Of course, all the poses from Be My Mannequin? Pose Store come copy/mod so you can adjust as you need to, and the sword can be rezzed out or added directly to your hand from your inventory (which is suggested).
I absolutely love the inspiration for the pose but when I saw it, I was reminded of my favorite show from my teen years: Dragonball Z and how the characters often hover while flying in the air. And of course, I HAD to do it! So I asked Vin, the creator of Be My Mannequin? Pose Store to be MY mannequin and bam, here we are: Vin cosplaying as Prince Vegeta of the Saiyans.
And I quote (several times in fact): "I can't believe you turned me into Vegeta."
I love the whole positioning of the body in the pose and you can feel the emotion just through the body language alone. The best bit, in my opinion, is how it will fit pretty much any avatar and can be used in pretty much any theme. I'm so excited for this event because of these poses!

Esta hermosa y curiosa planta se ha vuelto muy popular porque ultimamente se ha incorporado con éxito en el paisajismo y la jardinería en general.
Es nativa de las Américas,desde el nivel del mar hasta los 3000 metros e altitud ,y desde México hasta las provincias argentinas de:
Buenos Aires, Catamarca, Chaco, Córdoba, Corrientes, Distrito Federal, Entre Ríos, Formosa, Jujuy, La Pampa, La Rioja, y Mendoza. En la región también vegeta en el
Paraguay en los departamentos: Caazapá, y Canindeyú;
en el sur del Brasil en los estados de: Parana, Santa Catarina,y seguramente también en Rio Grande do Sul;
en todos los departamentos del Uruguay;
en Bolivia ;
y en Chile desde la primera región hasta la novena, incluyendo la Región Metropolitana de Santiago.
Es uno de los equisetos más grandes del mundo, midiendo de 2 a 5 metros de altura, sólo superado por su cercano aliado E. myriochaetum (cuyo tallo puede alcanzar los 8 metros de altura).
Sus tallos son los más corpulentos de la familia, midiendo de 1 a 2 centímetros de diámetro (y más de 3,5 centímetros en algunas poblaciones).
A diferencia de otros equisetos, no presenta separación de tallos estéril (fotosintético) y portador de esporas (no fotosintético).
Tiene rizomas largos, y en apariencia carece de hojas, mas están presentes, formando vainas cilíndricas desde los nudos de tallos, y comprenden muchas hojuelas lineales.
De algunos de los nudos salen ramas, con las mismas características de los tallos principales; en sus extremos aparecen órganos reproductivos con forma de espiga cilíndrica oval, en cuyo eje hay en círculos horizontales, diminutas hojitas modificadas, hexagonales: los esporófilos, y en su lado interno varios saquitos (esporangios) con esporos.
Ciertas poblaciones del norte de Chile con tallos muy corpulentos (de más de 3,5 centímetros de diámetro) han sido a veces tratados como especies separadas
(E. xylochaetum), pero en la actualidad se los incluye en la misma especie.
Las equisetáceas son una familia monotípica (con un solo género), siendo su género: Equisetum, el único sobreviviente hasta la actualidad de todas las equisetópsidas.
Las equisetáceas son morfológicamente muy distintivas, con un tallo con crestas y valles, hojas reducidas dispuestas en verticilos, y hojas fértiles transformadas en esporangióforos unidas en estróbilos terminales.
Este género consta de 15 especies agrupadas en dos subgéneros.
Las especies dentro de cada subgénero hibridan con facilidad , pero no entre especies de subgéneros diferentes.
Están ampliamente distribuidas en todo el mundo, excepto en Australia, Nueva Zelanda y Antártida.
El mayor número de especies se encuentra entre los 40º y los 60º de latitud norte.
Son plantas herbáceas, rizomatosas y perennes.
Si bien su morfología bambusoide ellas no están emparentadas con los bambúes.
Son de terrestres a acuáticas.
Estas plantas suelen colonizar áreas deforestadas, márgenes de lagos, y humedales.
Los parientes fósiles de Equisetum aparecen desde el Devónico (hace unos 408-360 millones de años).
Algunos miembros de las equisetópsidas llegaron a tener tallos de hasta 20 metros de altura, pero se extinguieron en el Carbonífero .
El género Equisetum puede extenderse hasta el Pérmico, hace más de 300 millones de años.
La sílica presente en los tallos los hace buenos para restregar, y se usaban para lavar los utensilios de cocina.

RIFLESSI SUL LAGO
Estremamente interessante sotto l’aspetto naturalistico ed ambientale è uno dei pochi laghi in cui vegeta ancora la "castagna d’acqua" (trapa natans). Circondato da boschetti ripariali costituiti da ontani, pioppi e salici, da canneti, torbiere e prati umidi, è importantissimo dal punto di vista faunistico. Per l’avifauna stanziale (folaga, gallinella d’acqua, airone cenerino, tuffetto, svasso maggiore) e per il transito di uccelli migratori (germano reale, marzaiola, strolaga, cigno reale, tarabuso) ideale per il birdwatching.
Anche la fauna ittica è particolarmente ricca (cavedano, tinca, luccio, persico reale, scardola, persico sole).

Extremely interesting from a naturalistic and environmental point of view, it is one of the few lakes where the "water chestnut" (trapa natans) still grows. Surrounded by riparian groves made up of alders, poplars and willows, by reedbeds, peat bogs and wet meadows, it is extremely important from a wildlife point of view. For sedentary birds (coot, moorhen, gray heron, little grebe, great crested grebe) and for the transit of migratory birds (mallard, garganey, loon, mute swan, bittern) ideal for birdwatching.
The fish fauna is also particularly rich (chub, tench, pike, royal perch, rudd, bluegill).

Today, I present the second of the two poses: Amen.

Amen was inspired by Lucifer's fall from Heaven after he was cast out. I am absolutely in love with the inspiration for these poses but when I saw them, I had another idea in mind. Growing up, I always loved Dragonball Z. It was my favorite anime during my teen years! So when I saw Amen, I saw the potential for a fun, action filled cosplay scene inspired by the Android saga!
In my picture, Android 18 (the blonde female) is in the Landing pose, Krillin (bald on left) is on the Victim 1 pose, Yamcha (dark hair guy in the middle) is on the Victim 3 pose, and Vegeta (dark hair guy in blue/black on the right) is on the Victim 5 pose. Victims 2 and 4 are not shown in the picture but can be seen and be DEMOed at Pandora Fair!

Like Goku, his hair is a 3D print. I re purposed Vegito's face for Vegeta because the eyes look more like Vegeta's when I first made them. So I'm making a new Vegito face.
