CAD and graphics refer to new resources that we can use to create new building, objects, things, etc. CAD means Computer Aided Design which help Architects, drafters, engineers, and artists to create plans and construction drawings. CAD is more efficient because the software records lines as vectors based on mathematical equations. There are many CAD programs and they are completely different. As example of CAD software are TurboCAD, AutoCAD and Vectorworks. TurboCAD is a software solution for professional 2D and 3D design. AutoCAD is a tool which helps to build infrastructure, product, factory, plant and other kinds of projects. Vectorworks is a BIM (Building Information Modeling) software program that is used for drafting, technical drawing and 3D modeling, in addition it offers 2D, 3D, production management and presentation capabilities. The term graphic refers to any computer device which makes a computer capable of displaying and manipulating pictures.

SEARAILS used Vectorworks software to develop the digital models and InterPRO printed them on our high resolution Objet PolyJet printer. At 600 dpi in X and Y, the objet is more than capable of capturing the fine details of these intricate pieces. Most of the models are no larger than 1 inch.
*SEARAILS Scale Models is the creator/owner of the designs and STLs.

The 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display showed up on my desk this morning. I feel like I'm sitting in the front row of an IMAX theater.
Here I used my VectorWorks 2009 skills and helped draft the set. I was also responsible for the Art Deco design research and for choosing out most of the patterns we used based on ideas from the head set designer.
