Der VB 226 wurde 1959 von der Waggonfabrik Hansa in Bremen für die AKN als VS 5 gebaut.

18002 / 1959

1963 gelangte er von der AKN zur SWEG.

Über den Verein "Die Brücke" in Blankenburg (?) gelangte er zum VBV in Braunschweig.

An den Seiten stehen die Städtenamen Halberstadt, Blankenburg und Elbingerode angeschrieben.
