Gomphurus vastus
I have a very similar shot of a Tamaulipan Clubtail, but he was just a little high up, so I couldnтАЩt get his legs. This is only the second Cobra IтАЩve ever (knowingly) seen, and itтАЩs one of my favorites, so I was thrilled to be vindicated!
The King Shivaji museum holds an odd, but interesting, assortment of artifacts that includes pottery, jewelry, sculpture, West Art, archeology, and more. The Heritage architecture of the building is a big attraction.
Until about 20 years ago, it was known as the Prince of Wales Museum, and that name still appears on Google Maps.
Vastus explores a familiar battleground from the Core War before Spherus Magna broke apart into two fragments.
Never expected to like Vastus back in the day but recent years have made him one of my favorite sets!
Removed the Hordika legs and beefed up the torso. Lots of subtle modifications to make Vastus stand out.

Thanjavur painting is a classical South Indian painting style, originating in the town of Thanjavur (Tanjore) in Tamil Nadu. The art form draws its inspiration from about 1600 AD, a period when the Nayakas of Thanjavur under the suzerainty of the Vijayanagara Rayas encouraged art, chiefly, classical dance and music, as well as literature, both in Telugu and Tamil and painting of chiefly Hindu religious subjects in temples. It is distinguished by its famous gold coating.

Originally named Prince of Wales Museum of Western India, this museum in Mumbai (Bombay) documents the history of India from prehistoric to modern times.
It was founded during British rule of India in the early years of the 20th century by prominent citizens of the city then called Bombay, with the help of the government, to commemorate the visit of the Prince of Wales (later George V, king of the United Kingdom and emperor of India). It is located in the heart of South Mumbai near the Gateway of India. The museum was renamed in 1998 after Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire.
The building is built in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, incorporating elements of other styles of architecture like the Mughal, Maratha and Jain. The museum building is surrounded by a garden of palm trees and formal flower beds.
Secondary Glatorian of the Ice Tribe, Gelu retired from arena politics to become a caravan escort. A former student of Certavus, Gelu is an agile warrior and a shrewd tactician.
I shortened the arms and filled in some gaps. Always loved GeluтАЩs build and consider him to be one of the lesser loved Glatorian despite hitting all the right notes. His color scheme was solid and his helmet and weapon combination fit perfectly with the tone of 2009.

Gresh dominated much of the promotional material of the first wave of Glatorian sets in 2009 and with good reason. His color scheme indicated a bold return to the coloration of early BIONICLE sets and his jungle themed armor was a refreshing change of pace from the overabundance of silver and gray seen in the protagonists of 2008.
For this revamp I shortened the upper arms and added some more black to the legs. I have especially fond memories of building Gresh for the first time at the table in a Chilis restaurant back in 2009 as he was the last Glatorian to be stocked on shelves in my area. With the playability of his shield and vibrant color scheme, he proved entirely worth the wait and one of my more fondly remembered Glatorian.
The temple[4] was officially opened on 6 November 2005 by Pramukh Swami Maharaj in the presence of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Manmohan Singh, L.K Advani and B.L Joshi.[5][6] The temple, at the centre of the complex, was built according to the Vastu shastra and Pancharatra shastra.
In Akshardham Delhi, similar to its predecessor Akshardham Gandhinagar, Gujarat, the main shrine is the focal point and maintains the central position of the entire complex. There are various exhibition halls which provide information about the life and work of Swaminarayan. The designers of the complex have adopted contemporary modes of communication and technology to create the various exhibition halls.[7]
The complex features an Abhisheka Mandap, Sahaj Anand water show, a thematic garden and three exhibitions namely Sahajanand Darshan (Hall of Values), Neelkanth Darshan (an IMAX film on the early life of Swaminarayan as the teenage yogi, Neelkanth), and Sanskruti Darshan (cultural boat ride). According to Swaminarayan Hinduism, the word Akshardham means the abode of almighty Lord Swaminarayan and believed by followers as a temporal home of God on earth.[8][9]
The main attraction of the Swaminarayan Akshardham complex is the Akshardham Mandir. It rises 141-foot (43 m) high, spans 316-foot (96 m) wide, and extends 356-foot (109 m) long.[10] It is intricately carved with flora, fauna, dancers, musicians, and deities.
Designed in accordance with the standards of Maharishi Vastu Architecture, it features a blend of architectural styles across India.[11][12] It is entirely constructed from Rajasthani pink sandstone and Italian Carrara marble. Based on traditional Hindu architectural guidelines (Shilpa shastras) on maximum temple life span, it makes no use of ferrous metal. Thus, it has no support from steel or concrete.[13]
The mandir also consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, nine domes, and 20,000 murtis of sadhus, devotees, and acharyas.[14] The mandir also features the Gajendra Pith at its base, a plinth paying tribute to the elephant for its importance in Hindu culture and India's history. It contains 148 life sized elephants in total weighing a total of 3000 tons.[15]
Under the temple's central dome lies the 11-foot (3.4m) high murti of Swaminarayan seated in abhayamudra to whom the temple is dedicated. Swaminarayan is surrounded by images of the faith's lineage of Gurus depicted either in a devotional posture or in a posture of service.[16] Each murti is made of paanch dhaatu or five metals in accordance to Hindu tradition. The temple also houses the murtis of Sita Ram, Radha Krishna, Shiv Parvati, and Lakshmi Narayan.[16]
IтАЩve struggled to revamp Tarix over many years, what with the delicate balance of his color scheme and a practical solution for his iconic shoulder spikes.
My solution is to shorten the spikes and maintain that balance of colors, adding in a little more Mata blue and filling in gaps.
Cobra Clubtails (Gomphurus vastus) and Rusty Snaketails (Ophiogomphus rupinsulensis) are emerging from the Potomac River near the mouth of Sideling Hill Creek in good numbers. Photo of freshly emerged Cobra Clubtail. Washington County, Maryland.

Exile of the Fire Tribe, warrior of the Wastelands, Champion of the Vorox.
A powerful original set with some bold design choices. IтАЩve always loved the muscle texture on Malum but the height scaling and shoulder pads have always been awkward for me. I tried to correct these while keeping his best features.
Want to see more of Malum? Feel free to check out Way of the Lawless, a chapter book story I wrote over lockdown about his exploits in the Wastelands of Bara Magna!

30 aastat Zwentendorfi rahvah├д├дletusest -
t├дna 1978. aastal viidi Austrias l├дbi rahvah├д├дletus selle kohta, kas sama h├дsti kui valmis ehitatud aatomielektrijaam Zwentendorfis tuleks ekspluatasiooni v├╡tta v├╡i ei. Rahvas h├д├дletas aatomielektrijaama vastu. Seda ei pandud kunagi t├╢├╢le. Praegu on selle betoonkorpuses vist muuseum.
Tollal k├дsitles Austria valitsus eesotsas legendaarse liidukantsleri (peaministri) Kreiskyga rahvah├д├дletuse tulemust r├дnga l├дbikukkumisena, kuid allus rahva tahtmisele kulutatud miljonitest hoolimata.
Paljud Zwentendorfi elanikud ise h├д├дletasid tollal muide t├╢├╢kohtade ja tulude peale m├╡eldes aatomielektrijaama poolt - praegu on nad igatahes ├╡nnelikud, et nii l├дks.
To me, one of the most spectacular annual, natural history events in Maryland is the synchronous emergence of tens-of-thousands of Cobra Clubtails (Gomphurus vastus) from the depths of the Potomac River. The adjacent fields, along the Potomac, fill with the glistening wings of newly created yellow and black dragonflies. Lander boat launch, Frederick County, Maryland.
This lava of Cobra Clubtail (Gomphurus vastus) had just left the water and would emerge soon. Potomac River, Fort Frederick State Park, Washington County, Maryland.
The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, abbreviated CSMVS and formerly named the Prince of Wales Museum of Western India, is the main museum in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It was founded in the early years of the 20th century by prominent citizens of Mumbai, with the help of the government, to commemorate the visit of Edward VIII, who was Prince of Wales at the time. It is located in the heart of South Mumbai near the Gateway of India.
