Bruny Island, Tasmania.

From it's lone perch, the Northern Hawk Owl can take advantage of watching what's below him. I believe he was watching the photographers that were photographing him.

Flit grabs a wad of cash, a few hand guns and heads up to the rooftops for some parkour and to feel the wind in her hair again.

The streets are quiet and she needs a good vantage point to see if anyone survived...

First, you must accept the fact that there is not a bad seat anywhere in Stresa. From all positions, you have a view of the hillsides, the lake, the rooftops. I always said that Stresa should be renamed NoStresa!

Stresa is a small town of about 5,000 inhabitants on the shores of the Lago (Lake) Maggiore in Italy. Since the early 20th century, the main source of income has been the tourist trade. It benefits from spectacular views as well as areas of historical and architectural interest.

I seem to be getting a backlog of photos so to freshen up my feed I thought I'd post this shot from a few months ago.

This was on one of my regular evening trips to see the owls when I came across this gorgeous youngster.

Although the owls don't show there is always plenty of other wildlife about particularly in Spring when this shot was taken.
