I made of this Yesterday one my wife took it to her Father,

Rice pudding decorated with Cinnamon and dark chocolate pearl crisps.

Double the pleasure today for you all:-)

Even on my day off I am willing to bake...

These 2 chocolate rice buddings are for the twins, made regular rice putting for my Father in law and some extra for us, at the end I added dark chocolate and here you have rich dark chocolate rice pudding with chocolate shavings for the twins.

No school today, will go visit Great grand father after lunch.

Seamus and Shortbread threw a wild party for the birthday. Their guest list was extensive.

A scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on a wafer cone topped with sprinkles...so good.

I managed to bake them in round wrappers but the shapes did not come out perfect + I didn't let them rest in the fridge enough and I know I'm into purple these days......:)

isn't this the coolest yoghurt-package you've ever seen? I do think so. I bought it just because of that cute illustration when I went bio-shopping that week. that brand also offers cheese and other stuff wrapped in super-cute packages (look at they're website: kaskistl.at). so awesome! I didn't eat this yet though, I just wanted to take a picture. I've never eaten sheepmilk-yoghurt (with vanillabean - yumyum) before, so I am actually quite curious about it.

man, how much I wish, more products with unique package-design existed. it would be so much more fun to go shopping. sadly most products have common designs and all look the same. so sad.

Vanilla bean with green tea filling in chocolate cookies. Pretty good but... too sweet.

 

It drives me crazy that all cookies are made with too much sugar. Even these organic cookies found at Whole Foods.

This was my first attempt ever at putting on lashes. I had fixed some droopy ones on a Lati once, but that was much easier than this. It's not the greatest, but I'm not doing it again! She will just have to deal with it!

 

Her hat is by Shazdolls and is meant for Lati. I'm surprised it fits her! I hope her hair comes by Saturday.

Like I mentioned previously, I fell so much in love with the Laduree Macaroons that I decided to attempt to make my own. I thought I'll start with vanilla and try to get the basics down.

Shame that I used the internet to get my first recipe - especially since I found the buttercream recipe on another blog, which was just so,so,so wrong..

It said to use loads of butter and 4 tablespoons of icing sugar, and so the buttercream was mostly butter =/

A great wine bottle for my brother’s homemade vanilla extract.

Only from a memory, I loved my dear Mothers baking and cooking,

This is the closest I can get to her rice putting and to think she did not have Vanilla bean,

she used Vanillin as I love to use myself mainly in doughs and some creams,

Its made with Arborio rice milk cream sugar and vanilla bean, No Eggs at all.

Made this rice putting when my younger son came over the other day,

My Hujoo came today! I think she's so pretty. So blushy, and I love her lips. She's waiting for a mohair wig, so she'll be bald for a while.

I wish we had scentaflickr as well. Smells great and tastes even better!

This is a very small cake (maybe 6 inches?) that I split in half I put coconut buttercream (using DF margarine) frosting, a row of blackberries and filled it with (DF) chocolate cream. On top I put date sugar marzipan, chocolate buttercream (just to hold the blackberries) and fresh blackberries standing vigil. OMG YUM!* This cake is GF and DF.
