Bus Eireann and CIE before that CVH (SI2006) is seen at Bernard Kavanaghs yard in Tipperary Town in February 2002 for stripping of usable parts, this coach was new in 1986 and like the rest of the 50 strong class(35 CVH and 15 EVH) worked very hard.
A shot that I had mis-filed for a decade!
Anyway, its a Volvo B12B9T)/Van Hool Acron photographed northbound on the M6 in Cheshire.

Seen participating in the 2023 UK Coach Rally in Blackpool is A&P Travel of Osbournby Van Hool TX16 Acron OO22APT.
Seen departing the yard of John Hunter Executive Travel in Tullibody is former Lothian MotorCoaches Van Hool Acron bodied Volvo B12B(T) DH09LON. This coach carried LST873 when with Lothian.

Seen at Hampden Park is Lothan Motor Coaches Van Hool Acron bodied Volvo B13RT 9055 - GSJ159. New to Chalfont as WA61AKP.
Parked on Regent Road in Edinburgh is Weardale of Stanhope Van Hool TX16 Acron 7WMS. New as YJ66FGD.
Previous operator/registration not known but believed to be new in November 2011 and acquired by Snowdons in August 2021. Any information would be appreciated.
Parked between tours is McMurray of Coatbridge Van Hool TX17 Acron SS13LSS.
New to Ashton, St Helens as SA63ASH in Leger Holidays Silver Service livery it passed to Hatton, St Helens in 2014 before joining Reay of Wigton in 2015. It passed in early 217 to McMurray for continuance on Leger Holidays work.
The previous SS13LSS was a brand new Neoplan Tourliner which has been reregistered to SA13UFC.
Strange that the vehicle has only been updated by six months!
NOX750X was a Van Hool Acron T815 C49Ft delivered new to Flights of Birmingham in May 1982, seen at the city's airport. It passed to Waites of Altringham in May 1986 and became RXO828, then moved to Cuthbertson of Blyth, Ayres of Dalkeith, Shorthouse of Droitwich, Price of Newcastle, Ball of Bormingham, Jones of Bontnewydd. Abbott's of Leeming purchased it in August 2004 and re-registered it as YIL1842.
York Pullman K1YPB 'VIP Service' Van Hool Acron is normally the team bus for York City FC but here it is seen at Blackpool competing in the UK Coach Rally.
Of great relief to Mr Parry as the coach is finally in the UK is this Van Hool T17 Acron registered YG25JYC. Another is to join shortly.

A very different Crosville bunking down in Brighton last night, 24th June, 2014. Van Hool Acron T815 TYR 95 is based in Weston super mare, not Cheshire. It had been new, I believe, to Nottinghamshire County Council as D731 WCH and most recently ran for Quantock Motor Services.
Scan from a negative, CVH27 new in 1986 is seen about to cross over Amiens Street to Busarus in July 1992, it was repainted in the BE "Chevrons" scheme.
A Van Hool Acron that was one of two coaches photographed whilst on a 'refreshment' stop conveying Blackpool FC supporters to that day's fixture at Stoke City.

The morning of Sunday 5th May saw Greater Anglia rail services suspended between Broxbourne, Stansted Airport and Audley End until 0930, with road transport bridging the gap.
Passing by the silent industrial units, Young's Coaches Volvo B12B/Van Hool Acron K16YCC passes down Stansted Road in Bishops Stortford working a service to Audley End 05/05/19

Arriving back at the depot afetr a school run is Coast to Coast Travel of Ardrossan Van Hool Acron bodied Volvo B12B(T) DH09LON still wearing it's base Lothian Motor Coaches livery.
This is one of three second hand Volvo B12B's with Van Hool Acron bodywork that have been bought for the Lothian Motor Coaches fleet.
This was new to Dhillon of London with registration DH09 LON

Ex BE CVH18 of 1986 vintage is seen 19 years later in Letterkenny County Donegal with The Londondery and Lough Swilly Bus Company . The Van Hool Acrons and Alizees that CIE originally leased and subsequently bought were the backbone of the express network until the very late 90s when newer plant pushed them right down the system. They are fondly remember by staff and enthusiasts alike.
