Indumati Palace (Mahal) is a Palace located just opposite to Lukshmi Villas Palace, Vadodara (Baroda). The Palace had very rare photographs of Royal Gaekwad Family and historic books. This 1880 brick building is named after Maharaja Sayajirao Gekwad IIIs daughter, Indumati, and now has the personal offices of the Gaekwad family. It is a typical Maratha-styled wada.
Earlier, the Ganesh Sthapna of the Royal Family used to be done here at Indumati Palace, so it was a important building for the Gaekwad Family. The Building has some very nice touch of Peshwa and Mughal Style Architecture.

Dabhoi also called as Darbhavati is a city and a municipality in Vadodara district in the state of Gujarat, India. It was originally known as Darbhavati.
Taken at the Vadodara Air Force Station. The Air Show comprised of high risk and extreme aerial acrobatics by the Suryakiran (Sun-ray) flying squad of the the Indian Air Force.
Yet another gem that you would not probably get to see at a lot of places now, there's something called a travelling gateman who travels in the 2 ft 6 in train itself.
At every level crossing, the train which already crawls at 20 kmph would come to a grinding halt and this chap gets off. Then he goes off to convince the motorists to stop and ensure that the gates are closed before the train proceeds towards its destination.

Seen here is one of seven newly allotted WAP-7 of Vadodara (BRC) shed curving at scenic Vaitarna outer with Ahmedabad bound Gujarat Express. Same day, I saw few other BRC WAP-7 with Flying Ranee, Karnavati and lastly HOG equipped # 30474 with Bharuch Virar Shuttle.
