Ein recht häufiges Gesicht vor den Containerzubringerzügen nach Bremerhaven sind die gefühlt immer weniger werdenden Loks der Baureihe 151. Da für den Bremer Raum das Licht noch nicht weit genug herum ist, um eine Aufnahme ohne leichten Frontschatten mach zu können, fuhr ich dem Zug ein wenig entgegen. Nachdem der Abraumzug mit der 232 nach Stolberg gerade durch war, folgte ihr wenig später die recht abgeranzte Railpool 151 048 mit dem KT 50476 (Maschen Rbf - Bremerhaven Speckenbüttel.) (IMG_5673)

Looking west from the Exmouth gulf from a scenic flight. Shot through an open window so not shot through glass. The shapes and colours from the ground and sea just speak to me for some reason… just seems to work.
With the strange winter weather we have been experiencing in the midwest this year so far,migrating geese have seemed a little confused on what to do...join the crowd or go your own way?

I hope you all see the V shape. Otherwise I'll feel completely idiotic for calling it that!
There's a soccer oval amongst bushland nearby which, on very cold mornings, is covered with ice crystals. When the sun warms them slightly, they start to melt. It's very beautiful, and it's a good place to get on the ground and soak up some of that icy water. My clothes don't thank me.
