V-Shape - Red-shouldered Hawk launching before feeding on insects. I love this pose as it clearly shows the red shoulders that this species is named after. Often times it is difficult to see the red shoulders clearly when the bird is perched.
It was a special experience observing this bird feeding for around 2 hours by the coast. In over a decade of photography I have never had such an opportunity photograph an adult of this species up close as they usually tend to be quite skittish.

Dando un paseo por la orilla del Ebro hemos podido comprobar que la población de aves ha aumentado. Las crías han crecido y parece que han decidido no salir del “barrio” y montar el nido en la misma urbanización de sus progenitores.
