The superyacht "Utopia" is built by the Dutch Feadship, and has a special history.
According to the website SuperYachtFan, it was commissioned by the Seattle-based U.S. dollar billionaire Keith McCaw in 2001, who died the following year, before the yacht was finished. The family canceled the order, but the shipyard completed, however the construction of the yacht.
In 2006 it was bought by American businessman Bill Miller. Last year, however, the yacht sold. It is not known what the final selling price was, but these prices are said to have been a little over 50 million euro.
It is not necessarily the boat owner who is traveling to Bergen this week, due to it's possible to rent the yacht for approximately 470 000 euro per week.
According to the website Superyacht Times, the boat is registered in the Cayman Islands. The yacht is 71.6 meters long and has a maximum speed of 16 knots. It should be sleeping room for twelve passengers and a crew of 18 people. The yacht has a helicopter deck, but is still "very much a family boat," according to the website.

The building has been painted with the entire text of Utopia by Thomas More, by local artist Rory Macbeth. It is shortly to be demolished.

in utopia wurde ein ideal verwirklicht. ungezählte menschenmassen leben auf engstem raum zusammen und tragen gemeinsam zum erhalt und wachstum der stadt bei. die bewohner sind platzsparend untergebracht, alle bedürfnisse sollen effizient befriedigt werden. neben grundnahrungsmitteln und wasser/ strom/ wärme sollen auch ästhetische bedürfnisse nicht zu kurz kommen, obwohl sie zur wertschöpfung der stadt nichts beitragen und eher zu den irrationalen gelüsten zählen - und damit eigentlich verboten sind. dazu wurden vielfarbige zier-rohre installiert, die als wegweiser und blickfang dienen. über den ästhetischen wert lässt sich allerdings streiten.
(im jahre 2134 ist farbfotografie verboten, daher lässt sich die vorzügliche farbigkeit der rohre nur erahnen)

Utopia Festival 2016 is a new 2 day electronic music festival coming to Madrid, Spain this June. Inspired by the definition of its own name, Utopia festival aims to bring its imaginary island of electronic music to life, with an isolated world of "liberating and hedonistic dance". The vast greens of Madrid University campus will be home to an imaginary Republic, free from the cares of the real world and joined by fellow 'Utopians' united through "freedom, happiness and fun". Launching with a stellar 50 artist strong lineup, the likes of Alesso, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren and more will join Madrid's highly anticipated new addition to the summer festival calender. The Complutense University of Madrid is located right in the heart of the city, however the layout will fell like you are separate from the world in 3 immersive and creatively designed areas known as "scenarios". Shot with Fuji GW690III on Kodak Portra 400UC film, expired 2007. Developed in Tetenal Colortec C-41 for 3.15 minutes, 4 minutes bleach fix, 4 minutes water rinse, 1 minute stabilizer. – View at least large.
After our family gathering at the shore, I returned to NYC with my sister. We had lunch at one of our favorite delis, the Utopia. While waiting for our order I put my camera on the table and took some photos of our fellow diners (one of whom, my sister informed me, was a famous choreographer -- you always see famous people in NYC).
