Segundo título descartado: Salta aunque nadie te comprenda...
No, en referencia al título original, la utopía realizable no se refiere a que yo consiga hacer un "cutout" rarillo.
A través de internet se ha programado un salto colectivo mediante el cual nuestro planeta cambiaría de órbita, llevándonos a un mundo mucho más agradable, sin calentamiento global y todo ese tipo de cosas...
El jueves 20, a las 12.39.13 (hora española), unas 600.000 personas saltaremos para hacerlo realidad. Jijiji...
Bueno, el temita éste está avalado por el profesor Hans Peter Niesward, que es profesor y por eso ya merece un respeto. :p

En cuanto al título alternativo, hace referencia al clásico mito de que si todos los chinos saltasen simultáneamente, el planeta cambiaría su órbita (según el prfesor, poco más de medio millón de personas es suficiente).
El otro título descartado es parte de una canción de Amaral... y lo cierto es que los que salten mañana a esa hora serán unos incomprendidos, eso seguro. xD

I was invited as a special guest to submit an illustration for argentinian magazine Revista Göoo.
It´s for their upcoming ”utopia" issue. Should be out in may. I had a lot of fun (and lot´s of work) to draw my image ;)
Jan Fabre tekende met het kolossale Searching for Utopia voor een van de spectaculairste bakens van de hele kustlijn. De sculptuur, die de kunstenaar als ruiter op een vergulde bronzen schildpad voorstelt, meet drie meter hoog, meer dan zeven meter lang en vijf meter breed. Negen bedrijven werkten mee aan de realisatie ervan. De 5,5 ton wegende kolos werd met een laagje vliegtuiglak weer-en windbestendig gemaakt. Zaterdagochtend werd Searching for Utopia met een speciaal transport naar Nieuwpoort gevoerd, waar het onder massale belangstelling werd opgesteld.
De schildpad is een vaak terugkerend thema in het (beeldende) werk van Fabre. Het gepantserde dier duikt zowel in zijn tekeningen als in zijn dans- en theatervoorstellingen op. In diverse culturen werd en wordt het schild door zieners gebruikt in rituelen die de toekomst voorspellen. In Nieuwpoort ziet die toekomst er rooskleurig uit: schildpad en ruiter zijn op weg naar 'Utopia'. Fabre ziet zichzelf als een hedendaagse ziener/mysticus die met zijn kunst een positieve kracht aan de samenleving geeft. Eenzelfde symboliek duikt op in De man die de wolken meet - waar the sky niet the limit is - op het dak van het S.M.A.K. in Gent en deSingel in Antwerpen.

Jan Fabre (born 1958, Antwerp, Belgium) is a Belgian multidisciplinary artist, playwright, stage director, choreographer and designer.
He studied at the Municipal Institute of Decorative Arts and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Between 1976 and 1980 he wrote his first scripts for the theatre and made his debut performances.
Established in 1986, Troubleyn/Jan Fabre is a theatre company with extensive international operations, with its home base in Antwerp, Belgium.
From 1980 he began his career as a stage director and stage designer

Here the tidy Dart is seen in the attractive village of Askham Richard on the 37 which runs three times into York daily from Tadcaster.

Pues sí, buena racha la que tenemos por aquí ya que todas las 251 están llegando impolutas y libres de pintarrajos de los tontos del bote. Es un placer, tanto que apetece hacer la foto. Esta, en concreto, no sé la razón concreta pero me encanta cómo me quedó. Quizá sea el tren, quizá el ángulo dado, quizá los campos que lo rodean, o quizá una suma de todo.
Parece algo utópico que vengan así de presentables, pero nuestra misión, o una de ellas, es hacer que lo imposible sea posible.

Utopia Coaches Mercedes Vario 616D A10UTO seen leaving the hamlet of Balne with the 09:30 Selby-Goole 488.
The 488 operates a single working in each direction on Wednesdays. It provides a bus service for settlements such as Hensall, Great Heck, and Pollington which otherwise have limited public transport options, though are additionally served by Utopia’s 486 on Mondays and Fridays. Using a vehicle with no destination equipment to speak of and which is probably only permissable on service work due to being classed as a coach, this is the opposite end of bus operation to Transdev's 'riding redefined', though nonetheless undoubtedly a vital social utility for regular passengers.

Batizada como De Brasília à Tropicália: Utopia da Modernidade, a exposição tem como objetivo provocar uma reflexão a respeito da construção da cidade – com o sonho de tirar o país do subdesenvolvimento - e o movimento tropicalista, que, ao contrário, assumiu o estado subdesenvolvido do País e por vezes destacou o antigo em meio à tão idealizada modernidade. “O belo, o feio, o arcaico e o moderno acabam comungando o mesmo espaço. Fazemos uma leitura da cidade inaugurando a reflexão sobre tudo isso”, destaca a curadora da mostra Ana Queiroz.
Entre as peças expostas, os visitantes da mostra poderão observar esculturas, objetos históricos, cenários pós-modernos, vídeo-instalações, gravuras e serigrafias.
Também estão expostos recortes de obras originais de artistas de diferentes gerações da capital, e peças criadas por nomes consagrados como Rubem Valentim, Athos Bulcão, Milan Dusek, Stella Maris Bertinazzo e Aloisio Magalhães. “O principal atrativo para as pessoas que forem visitar a exposição é o convite feito aos expectadores para que eles interajam com as obras. Os ambientes foram projetados e pensados para que o visitante seja não só um expectador, mas também um participante daquele universo”, explica Ana. De Brasília, a exposição seguirá para o Rio de Janeiro e Salvador.

Kozjak lake, one of my favorite places where you can escape the city jungle and rest your eyes and ears, breath some fresh air and mediate.
As we were climbing the mountain the sun was ready to set off so we catch the last light that was breaking through the near mountains forming a beam of light because of the mist above the lake.
