Archived photo from Polo.com. In the early 2000's, four vintage Airstream were designed by Ralph Lauren in various themes, including Western, Adirondack, Nautical and Army Surplus / Utility.
They were sold through the Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation (initally asking $150K each, later $100K) with proceeds donated to charity.

I received my second electric bill, but the first for a full month. It's so fricking cheap I will watch my mailbox with bated breath each time the bill comes, just so I can feel good about how little I used.
I sense a little self-competition a-brewing. I'm determined to have summer rock the house even though i do have A/C available to me.

Bridge construction, steel construction: Erecting prefabricated panels of a Mabey steel truss panel temporary bridge over the Merrimac River on Route 113. Ironworker on top of erected panels guides crane operator, facing toward us, while ground man guides panel into place. Panels are connected by single driven pin at bottom and bolted connection at top. Tyngsborough, MA 2005.
Grey 'neck brackets' will be replaced with red ones.

Although Arizona is a land of great natural beauty, the &*%$ing utlity companies have their lines running everywhere. Even the most majestic spots in the state are marred by visual pollution. There are even multi-million-dollar homes on Camelback Mountain with electric lines coming in on ugly creosote poles. Here, a beautiful vista along the road to Prescott is bisected by wires and posts.
I wish the utilities would start burying the lines. What we see each day has a profound influence on our sense of health and happiness, so we should strive to surround ourselves with beauty and we should seize every opportunity to minimize the visual clutter around us.
Justen just finished converting has utility trailer into a camper by outfitting it was DIY No Weld Rack Towers and a roof top tent. Heading out on his first camping adventure tomorrow.

In keeping with the railroad theme this is a HEAVY railroad utility car that I just finished a light restoration on. That is to say I tore it down and cleaned a ton of grease and grime off of it, polished the orange frame, greased and repainted the cast iron wheels and removed and sanded the platform. The back wheels measure about 12 x 2.5 inches and just the wheels and the shaft (no support assembly) weigh 55 pounds! You don't want your toes in the way when this thing gets going! Judging from the bolts and the amount of gunk on this when I started I guess late 40's.
A brand new casting for 2019 Case R and is your typical cost cutted affair which might explain why it hasn't garnered as much interest as maybe it should! Its not a complete lash up, the 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility is exactly the type of vehicle you expect to find in the modern U.S. dominated Matchbox line up but one which is neither particularly exciting or possesses much casting flair. Bought recently from Modelmatic as this and all of this batch completely missed Tesco. Mint and boxed.
On May 31, in San Jose, the fire call came in shortly after 1100. A double-wide mobile home on Sunbeam Circle was on fire. Engine 16 was in the area of Story and King and subsequently reported, “Smoke showing!" The address, in a mobile home park, backed up against the high sound wall of the Story Road/Hwy 101 intersection. The alarm level was a full-first, plus special call units.
Utility 2 is a dual cab Ford F350 XLT Super duty. It is used to move equipment around as required by the Battalion 2 crews. It is also the vehicle sent out in command of Strike Teams and may be seen around the County or around the State in this role as "Battalion 202".

This is a Hillman Utility just after its full restoration work by Joseph Grima of Gozo.This was the first time that it was out on show in Gozo.
Here is a nice example of converting a Lowes 3.5' x 5' Utility Trailer into a Gear Hauling Camping Trailer. Using our No Weld Trailer Rack System you could easily duplicate the two-tier rack storage approach he did.

Infrastructure and Utilities Repair along Interstate 5 Delta Fire (17SEP18)
As the containment on the Delta Fire nears completion, the long and arduous business of repairing and securing infrastructure begins.
Along the I-5 Interstate an early priority for CALTRANS is to mitigate the hazard of burned trees falling across the road. A section of at least 50yrds will be cleared along each side of the road to prevent this.
Further back into the right of way power and telecommunications lanes will be repaired and reinstalled.
Along the AT&T line near Pollard Flats, contractors from the Kenny Doealker Backhoe Service worked to clear trees and damaged poles from the right of way. (pictured are Matt Justice on saw and helper Gavin Kosenko)
