El último viernes de Abril el pueblo de Les Useres, en la Comarca de l’Alcalatén, rememora una antigua tradición que nos sumerge de lleno en la Edad Media. Son trece hombres, el guía y doce peregrinos (en representación de Jesucristo y los doce Apóstoles), acompañados por tres cantores, el cura, el representante del Ayuntamiento, los clavarios, el depositario, las promesas y el grupo de las càrregues, los que renovarán un año más el voto de todo el pueblo al marchar en peregrinación penitencial hacia el santuario de San Juan de Peñagolosa.

No se sabe mucho de sus orígenes: pestes, tiempos de sequías, guerras, etc., cualquier motivo era suficiente para manifestar la fe en Dios, la Virgen y los Santos. Según el canto del O Vere Deus se pide por la salud, la paz y la lluvia.

We met in the Kings Arms in Roupell Street and then Walked along the Thames.Bill Gordon one of our members from Canada joined us and we even had a model to shoot.
