Lo scoiattolo non va in letargo durante l'inverno. Si limita ad alternare periodi di sonno prolungato con periodi di modesta attività per la ricerca del cibo. Uno scoiattolo può vivere fino a 4-5 anni.

Rare visitor here on the East Coast. It is native to the West Coast. West Chester PA.

Common Tern (Sterna hirundo)

This is a breeding adult doing it's best to chase me away. They come in fast and right at you. When they fly up just inches from your head, they poop on you. I held my camera up and just held the shutter trigger down hoping I got something. I did this several times and this is the best one. I did have to clean off the camera. Sacile è la seconda città della provincia (di Pordenone) e la sesta della regione per numero di abitanti.

Il caratteristico centro storico sorge su due isole sul fiume Livenza, lungo le cui sponde si affacciano numerosi palazzi nobiliari del periodo veneziano. Per tale motivo viene spesso soprannominata come la piccola Venezia; molto utilizzato inoltre è l'appellativo di Giardino della Serenissima.

Tre case isolate di pescatori nel Parco Hardangervidda Hardangervidda è un altopiano montuoso nella Norvegia centro-meridionale, che copre parti delle contee di Vestland, Telemark e Buskerud. È il più grande altopiano del suo genere in Europa, con un clima alpino freddo tutto l'anno e qui si trova uno dei ghiacciai più grandi della Norvegia, l'Hardangerjøkulen.

The turkeys where back this morning and this big Tom was in full display.

I Shot this image using my new Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 lens and even though I had to push the ISO up to 1600 to compensate for the lack of light under the trees the image is pretty sharp.

I'm impressed with this lens so far, I think it's going to be a lot of fun to work with.

A beautiful location to view the Aurora from.

Getting in close was not a problem with the powerful Tamron SP 150-600 Di VC USD G2 lens.
