More of lizmelooo and princesswrencosplay doing the Sailor Moon beach episode cosplay. As I said, I got Sailor Moon Shamed a long time ago on account of being Male and Having Sailor Moon Stuff On My Shelf so I just decided that defense was not worth playing.

Japanese traditional sweets "Usagi".

Usagi means rabbit.

Tsukimi (moon viewing) is a custom to appreciate the full moon in the middle of September (the night of August 15, juugo-ya, by the lunar calendar). The moon is called "chuushu no meigetsu."

An old Japanese people thought that the rabbit lived in the moon...

そろそろお月見ってことで。。。

When I saw lizmelooo and princesswrencosplay showing up with this cosplay at acosplayingtofu's beach meetup, knew exactly what they were and that I absolutely had to photograph them for as long as they wanted. Because Sailor Moon beach episode cosplay.

Because I love Sailor Moon, even moreso after I got Sailor Moon Shamed on account of being Male and Liking Sailor Moon.

So that's princesswrencosplay as Chibiusa and lizmelooo as Usagi. And they were very much in character, as you can see here. If you cosplay Usagi and don't cry at least once, did you actually cosplay Usagi?
