Hier sehen wir Ursula in ihrem neuen, Stunden zuvor in Mali Lošinj beim Shopping-Bummel gekauften, hübschen Sommerkleid am Höhenzug Kalvarija bei der Kapelle Sveti Ivan vor zwei Buchten mit den Orten Veli Lošinj (links) und Rovenska (rechts). Das Gleichgewicht zu halten, war in dieser scharfkantigen Felsbrocken-Umgebung neben dem Posieren eine wichtige und nicht zu unterschätzende Aufgabe, die Ursula natürlich bravourös gemeistert hat.
Here we see Ursula in her new pretty summer dress, bought hours before on a shopping spree in Mali Lošinj, on the Kalvarija mountain range near the Sveti Ivan chapel in front of two bays with the towns of Veli Lošinj (left) and Rovenska (right). Keeping her balance in this sharp-edged rocky environment was an important and not to be underestimated task in addition to posing, which Ursula of course mastered brilliantly.

Her faceup is finally all finished with eyelashes and everything. Next I want to give her earrings.
She is historically known for having been executed in England in 1582, after being accused of making neighbors sick and of possessing Familiars, magical animals from which the witch drew part of her power.

Though she won a Golden Globe Ursula's looks generally outweighed her acting talent and she never took her film career very seriously.

A statue representing "Mother Shipton" in a cave in the Nidd Gorge, Knaresborough.
She was born Ursula Southeil or Sonthiel in the 1480s and died in 1561. Legend has it that she was a prophetess and possibly a witch.
Born in a cave to a young unmarried mother, she gained a local reputation as a wise woman and herbalist. She married a man from York called Toby Shipton. After he died she is said to have returned to the cave of her birth. Living in caves was not at all unusual at that time in Knaresborough. The local limestone gorge was riddled with caves and many were made into habitations.
It is hard to tell fact from fiction at this distance in time, since many stories about her were set down well after her death.
