This sassy new design, free through the end of May, is in honor of all the tough, beautiful, inspiring women in our lives.

Urban Threads stitcher Theresa contacted us awhile ago, asking if we could contribute to her team's fundraising for the Breast Cancer 3-Day in Tampa Bay, Florida. Participants in cities around the United States walk 60 miles, raising at least $2,300 apiece to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. The 2008 events raised more than $110 million. Now that's fighting like a girl.

Use it on creations for raffles or local fundraising events such as the ones Theresa's team is planning -- and stitch it for the admirably fierce women in your life.

I finally bought a light table and uses a dritz water soluable marker to trace the pattern. ithink it turned out great except it took a lot of time to get all of the marker out.

Is your bookshelf looking a bit drab these days? Shiny pink printed book jackets just not giving your library the… ambiance you’re after? Well, it might be true that they don’t make them like they used to, but that doesn’t mean YOU can’t….

Achieved by overlapping some of the scribbles skull designs, and then attacking it with a bleach pen. No paint required!

A sneak peek at the hand embroidery I made for this weeks project.

Hand embroidered, satin, stem, and backstitching.

Used scraps from my reproduction fabric collection for the background.

Took a more rustic approach to the clean lines of the pattern, "Craft Revolution" by Urban Threads.

To keep my poor little ipod from becoming even more scratched and beaten than it already is, I made myself a little bunny cozy for it.

Detail of the coat back- urbanthreads man and machine design

I made it for a magazine shoot. It's my favorite new pillow. I just love how simple it is. I stitched the two designs and then just continued the birdcage string with my sewing machine.

Let your desk reach new nerd heights. It's the unholy fusion of longcat and keyboard cat, with a little extra nerd thrown in for good measure. And it keeps your wrists comfy!

Yeah. Norton's kickin it in the hood.

This is part of the whole 3 piece set I am giving to Kittykill for her gala. Here is the completed onesie (minus the earring I forgot and noticed this morning) Pattern available at www.urbanthreads.com.

First attempt of making a bunny for www.urbanthreads.com/blog/?p=7487 . I am not too happy with the result but considering that I have not done anything like this since 5th or 6th grade I am not too unhappy with it as well.

The morning monster... Pretty much what we're all like in the morning without caffeine. Stitched on a little lace up coffee cozy, so I don't keep using those little useless cardboard ones and then tossing them away.

Learn the wonders of crayon tinting! All you need is a box of crayons, and iron, and your sweet self (something to embroider would be good to) Plus embroidery hoops make an excellent wall hanging. Check out my profile for more info on this tutorial!

He's such a ham. I think he liked his new hoodie. Best part...it cost less than 5 bucks to make.

You have to take your crafting kit with you! The other option is apparently fatal.

It looks like a cool aged book from the outside, but flip it open and there's actually a hidden compartment for trinkets and treasures!
