Monster Building Night-Monster Building night. Hong Kong -15 July 2017 This building is probably the most Instagrammed site of Hong Kong and a perfect illustration for dense housing in a megapolis. It is called ‘Monster Building' due to an unbelievable conglomeration of five residential complexes—Oceanic Mansion, Fook Cheong Building, Montane Mansion, Yick Cheong Building, and Yick Fat Building. The complex is also known as Yik Cheong Building, one of the most famous buildings in Quarry Bay.

Only one after noon, sky mostly grey in grey, late afternoon some blue sky, just not enough time to take pictures, evaluate them and then come back and improv on them.
There are three of them, one for living and two commercial buildings with many businesses. This is a realtor’s dream, location, location and location.
But photographing them is more of a challenge. There is a limited choice of locations. To take them all, just from the other side of the river Rhine (Rechts Rheinisch. Or as a panorama from behind.
Other than this from the bride, Severinsbrücke, from the floor. But they are huge, even with very wide angle from the floor, there is either not enough space, some other buildings, or converging lines.
Designed by Hadi Teherani, they won several prices.

A city always contains more than any inhabitant can know, and a great city always makes the unknown and the possible spurs to the imagination.”

This little and ancient chapel has stood the winds the weather of the Atlantic coast : its in the Cabo Espichel (winds are extremly strong here) its one of the most ancient moments in this region right on the cliffs of the coast : this the Ermida da Memória - Nossa Senhora da Pedra Mua Sanctuary. It changes colours with the light and inside has great " ajulejos". This whole region is most peaceful and beautiful (next to my favourites beaches) so I would like to share with all of you. So do enjoy!

Something I realiced quite fast was the national pride of the france. Nowhere it was more obvious than on the days before their bastille day, the 14th of July. Full of pride everywhere they raise the national flag and every village, ever so small, is decorated in the colours of the country. They can be shure of my admiration.
A view of the High Line’s narrow, curving ribbon from above.
The greenway may look flat from this angle, but it isn’t—it’s layered with bushes, flowers, and trees, following the path of the former elevated railroad. My attention was caught by an extravagantly designed building with framed glass walls—High Line 23 by Neil M. Denari Architects, where each floor holds a single apartment. To its left stands Highline 519 at 519 West 23rd Street, designed by South African architect Lindy Roy—both buildings serving as bold visual landmarks for those strolling the park.
The view is changing every few months with new buildings popping up like mushrooms on either side of the park. By now, it could already look different.

Beneath the vast span of the Severins Bridge, two people walk their path. The Rhine flows quietly beside them, the city hums in the background – yet for a moment, only their shared stride seems to matter.

A variation on my previous photo. The emphasis is on the stairs leading into the sky and the crosshatched reflections of light from the buildings' windows.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, during the Belle Époque, many artists had studios or worked in or around Montmartre, including Salvador Dalí, Amedeo Modigliani, Claude Monet, Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso, Camille Pissarro and Vincent van Gogh. Montmartre is also the setting for several hit films. This site is served by metro line 2 stations of Anvers, Pigalle and Blanche and the line 12 stations of Pigalle, Abbesses, Lamarck - Caulaincourt and Jules Joffrin.

The Szczecin Philharmonic Hall rises like a crown of white peaks against the deep blue sky. Its sharp, geometric gables create a rhythm reminiscent of musical notes climbing a score. Both bold and serene, the building embodies the harmony of architecture and sound.

The reflection of the Castelo de Almourol at the end a clear Autunm day. The history of this castle (built on a small island) goes back to roman times but it was here that the in the 12th century the Grand Master of the Temple Order rebuilt it as one of the defense castles for the battles with the Moors - in its towers we can still the " templar sign" (this is actually known for being a "Templar region") and its associated to a series of castles and convents; it was inhabited until 1600, today is a National Monument. All the towers still stand (even if it suffered from the great earthquake of the 18th century) and the water which separates the castle from land (once for defense now so lovely to see) ...all that is really a wonderful sight. Enjoy!

First established as the British capital of India, New Delhi is today the center of the national government of India. Besides the government buildings and embassies, there are many monuments and green spaces. Almost all of the many traffic circles have monuments and extensive landscaping such as this one. Most of the streets are also lined with trees and gardens. In fact, greenery is everywhere along the major roads of greater Delhi as well as vivid murals decorating highway infrastructure. As India has prospered, a big movement is underway to build out the needed infrastructure.

A intriguing and fascinating building I had to go back an capture again as I wanted an image with pure tones in cream & white. The task was to completely transform an image to its core white tones. I added creams for softness and the emphasize the shadows against a pure white sky
The public main library in Stuttgart, a place to be, to read books, to learn, to meet, to have coffee and cake and to take photos. For the first picture, the innermost center cube, from the center of the top floor
Yes, this is one of the few libraries which are a photographic hot spot, where the library has a system for photographers, both professional and for hobbyists, Instagrammers and others. Before I went there, I sent an email asking for permission to use tripod. Normally quite difficult to get, not here. Just come, read the rules for photographers and everything is fine. This was the case, I went, I asked was sent to security, get a batch for the day. 5 Minutes from entering to end of procedures, very organized.
If you look it up, places to photograph in Stuttgart, the library is prominent listed.
Cubes in cubes on top of cubes, designed by Architect Eun Young Yi, won the library several prices for design. For more ask google.
