Merry waters does the stream hold within, flowing over shale and ice growing thin, sharing secrets of the coming spring, in their travels whispering. Photo taken two years ago in Northeast Ohio.
Bad Gasteinerfall, also named Gasteinerfall or Gasteiner ache wasserfall, is a powerful waterfall in the city center of Bad Gastein in the region Salzburg in Austria. The Gasteiner Ache falls 341m in three drops. This middle fall was viewed from a stone bridge in the town.
This photo was stacked from two horizontal long exposure shots in PhotoShop. In this series, I have to use three different photos to cover the upstream fall, the stone bridge and the downstream.
The spray from the falls is said to have therapeutic properties.

This was the upstream view from the same lovely little pebble beach in the Bürser canyon. At this point the trail through the valley ends and another trail takes hikers up to the plateau, and leads them back to the starting point, Bürs.

Porthnanven. The only time we had visited previously was in 2008. That time my Dad was quite frail and we took him for what was to be his last trip to Cornwall; he loved the old tin mines in particular. He couldn't cope with the boulders at Porthnanven so we only spent a short time there. This time we were keen to explore the beach a bit more fully.
This was taken in the river before it reaches the beach. It's amazing how far the boulders have been washed upstream. I'm not sure I'd want to be there in a winter storm!
The blue strip is usually at the top of landscape photos but not this time! Dreamy green reflections of the trees above the weir contrast with the reflections of the sky below on the River Exe upstream from Miller's Crossing bridge.

This aqueduct, reflected in the River Trent, carries a substantial water pipe just upstream from the M1 bridge, Nottinghamshire.
