ALL THE PROMISE'S OF GOD SHALL CARRY ME THROUGH, AS I TRAVEL ON THIS LONG LONG JOURNEY!!

PRAISE YOU FATHER GOD!

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Isaiah 58:9

Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

Psalm 32:5

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Psalm 50:15

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

The seawall in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, is a stone wall that was constructed around the perimeter of Stanley Park to prevent erosion of the park's foreshore. Colloquially, the term also denotes the pedestrian, bicycle, and rollerblading pathway on the seawall, one which has been extended far outside the boundaries of Stanley Park and which has become one of the most-used features of the park by both locals and tourists. James "Jimmy" Cunningham, a master mason, dedicated his life to the construction of the seawall from 1931 until his retirement. Even after he retired, Cunningham continued to return to monitor the wall's progress, until his death at 85. While the whole path is not built upon the seawall, the total distance from CRAB park, around Stanley Park and False Creek to Spanish Banks is about 30 kilometres (19 mi).

Happy new year from Colombo, Sri Lanka. Long story short, I decided to establish my tripod just beneath a nest of crows and ended up being pooed upon for most of the evening. Problem is once you start taking a picture, you can't move for one hour! What i wouldn't do for a good picture!

In 2022 28 Chimpanzee Sculptures were unveiled between London Bridge and Tower Bridge on the south side of the river. The sculptures demonstrate 18 different behaviours and emotions shown by chimps — with whom we humans share 98% 0f our DNA — including love, grief, friendship and conflict.

gillieandmarc.com/blogs/news/28-chimpanzee-sculptures-unv...

The exhibition is the work of British and Australian artists Gillie and Marc known worldwide for their innovative public sculptures and paintings. Coming from very different backgrounds, they both share a profound love of wildlife and their art has raised many thousands in donations for wildlife charities.

In 2023 10 Chimp sculptures were moved to Kingston upon Thames.

Gillie and Marc have designed the sculptures to be interactive and engaging. We're encouraged to get as close as we want, touching their faces, examining their hands — even hugging them — so you may well struggle to drag your own little chimps away.

Upon a surfboard, they sit entwined,

Clinging close as the sun dips low.

The water whispers, gentle and kind,

As twilight paints the sky aglow.

First afternoon off work because I felt like it...upon arrival...the realization that idle time is a burden set in...the mind wanders...there was only one solution...take a walk with the MKIII and the 100-400mm. After about 15 minutes in the still 85 Deg F heat I was done...my first thoughts on what to call this shoot was "Butterflies & B.S." A Variety of Things Seen.

The Swallowtails were on the Ironweed.

The Bazaar Dungeon (Loki Eliot)

An ancient Elven prison, once filled with shifting walls to trap the incarcerated, now breached, opened and repurposed for trade. A subterranean world, where the glowing path assures safety and passages remain as yet unexplored – perhaps trapped, perhaps filled with undiscovered treasures worthy of the risk. And at the centre of it all, the ever-watching eye, ancient guardian of this place, waiting to rest its gaze upon those who tread too carelessly.

Came upon this on the walk home from the Marina yesterday

The parking lot was empty. The idea of bears in the area kept us singing loudly and laughing as we walked through the forest. When our group peeked out from the trees we were struck by a dazzling scene of glorious light hitting the tops of the larches that rimmed the lake. The grand, snow-dusted mountains reflected pristinely in the water. We quite literally gasped at the sight. What a thrill to see such astonishing beauty. Those who had been there before smiled knowingly, at our reaction. For them, it was as much a joy to see our response, as it was to take in the amazing view. An hour later, when the raindrops started to fall we had to tear ourselves away, oh so reluctantly. How fortunate we are to share together, in these magnificent, stumbled-upon moments.

"A statue removed from an Islington park more than 30 years ago has been officially reinstated. 'Upon Reflection' is a self-portrait of artist Kevin Atherton, first unveiled in the Philip Noel-Baker Peace Garden, in Elthorne Park, in 1985.

But the statue, which depicts the artist gazing at his reflection in a pond, was vandalised and eventually removed after less than two years. The plinth has remained empty since.

The sculpture was thought to be lost, until the council’s heritage team found it in the basement of Islington Town Hall last year." (source and date of article unknown😭possibly 'Islington Gazette')

Originally when the Statue was Installed was plain Silvery Bronze colour. It was painted Silver (as here) but the Date that it was Painted Gold was sometime in 2024 (to be updated)

Berwick-upon-Tweed is England’s most northerly market town, located in Northumberland just 3 miles from the Scottish border. Famed for its remarkably intact Elizabethan walls, three iconic bridges, and turbulent history as a frequently contested border town, it offers a blend of military history, coastal scenery, and Georgian architecture.

Bridges over the River Tweed at Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Berwick-upon-Tweed, a town that was fought over between Scotland and England for some 400 years, changing hands several times before being taken by Richard Duke of Gloucester (later Richard III) in 1482.

Berwick is closer to Edinburgh than it is to Newcastle and the population marginally tend to see themselves as rather more Scottish than English, helped by both rugby and football teams playing in Scottish leagues.

However, locally it is said that the majority call themselves Berwickers ahead of Scots or English.

The nearest bridge is the Old Berwick Bridge opened in 1624, behind which is the Royal Tweed Bridge of 1928, then the Royal Border Bridge, which has carried the railway across the river since 1850.

Boondall Wetlands are situated in the northern Brisbane suburb of, well, Boondall and are part of the important wetlands of inner Moreton Bay. The Information Centre has been recently rebuilt and includes educational information about these wetlands and the importance to our environment. There are walking trails to a bird hide on Nundah Creek just opposite the marina on Cabbage Tree Creek at Shorncliffe and a bird hide. Mangrove Kingfishers are one of the more beautiful birds seen in the area.

This is a simple shot of some of the wetlands after king tides with some nice reflections.

Photo 37/100: my 100x photos this year will be of foliage; so woodland scenes, individual trees, plants & fallen leaves 🍂🌿🌳 Way behind with uploading so please forgive the forthcoming deluge of foliage photos as I attempt to complete my project.

The picnic pavillion and little pond at the Flyin' B Ranch open space park. We didn't get a whole lot of snow but it sure was pretty! The fact that there is no ice on the pond is a testament to how mild this winter has been.

I have wanted to take this shot for ages, but the lighting has never been that great, and there are usually Buses in the way, but yesterday the scene was perfect.

Everything is possible. You just have to want it enough
