I attempted to replace an old photo of Edinburgh with a cleaned-up version; this is what showed up. We thought it had a strange kind of appeal so I saved it. In my snarkier moments I'd say I'd seen things like it at MoMA or the modern wing of the Met. "Accidental Art" must be a thing, surely?*

*Tag search tells me it is, or could be--654 results matching "accidental art." and a couple of groups devoted to it as well.

something between my copy of macos and flickr isn't very happy, so all of my uploads today are looking like this by the time the get into the flickr server farm.

(update: Uploads DO work with firefox, so I guess that apple messed something up with the safari in the latest version of the osx sierra beta.)

Whoa. I have no idea what happened to this when I uploaded it.

Something is broken though. :( I've uploaded this four times. The picture is normal (ie. alone/singular) in all applications I use to view it however, once it appears on Flickr, shazam! Wacked out.

For almost a year I've been having difficulties uploading images via the Flickr uploader at peak internet usage times. When the upload is slow, I know with certainty that the uploaded image is going to display various coloured bars or lines across it meaning I have to repeat the upload again. On the second occasion it usually uploads correctly, though on rare occasions it takes 3 times before successful execution of the upload.

Sometimes the image uploads with as if with a colour filter applied, as is the case in the image immediately below.

I suspect it's probably got something to do with my slow internet connection, though I am supposed to have 50mbps, which suggests I need to contact my service provider perhaps rather than Flickr.

Is anyone else having similar difficulties?

We picked up a new Tesla Model Y Long Range (MYLR) on Saturday morning 16th March 2024 in Chatswood, Sydney and drove to Yarramalong, just west of Wyong, NSW.

We stayed our first night with the new car at Angel Sussorri, an Air B&B before resuming our journey next morning.
