Funny story, the cinematic tools stopped working, no matter what I do, on my desktop PC with Win7 and I thought it was just something related to the most recent Uplay updates. Turns out they work like a charm on my new Win10 laptop, so whatever my system did definitely broke something there. Oh well, isn't technology fun.

 

No Odissey, at least for a while. I still have to get back into Origins and finish that one first.

It's rather absurd. UPlay says I have killed 633 people in this game already and I'm not even done. All that to revenge my son. I get people like to slaughter NPCs like there's no tomorrow, but using a story of 'revenge' (which is already a terrible cliche) to give the whole being there some meaning is rather... silly?

 

Anyway, I wanted to do some more grittier shots as they're often too clean. I tried reshade but the depth buffer is gone after a second or so at places (and reappears elsewhere), which is likely the game, so I had to use the photomode's effects for e.g. DOF. All in all it turned out to be OK.
