This is a roll of upholstery fabric which has stood in a corner being ignored for the last year. It is meant to be used to cover one of a pair of armchairs which we bought from an antique shop. We decided to upholster both chairs ourselves which was quite the learning curve! We managed to complete one chair but the exertions of doing that meant we were in no rush to do the other one. It's on a list of things to do but unfortunately keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list.

Another Steve, not me. This auto upholstery shop is a landmark in Albany, Georgia. It has been here for as long as I can remember. It was always surrounded by an interesting collection of "classic" cars, many of them I shot and posted here through the years. It's now closed and being slowly demolished.
Update: This building actually burned down on September 10, 2021. Good thing I captured it pre-fire.

Walk with me in the soft filtered light of the woods by Derwentwater. Maybe we'll rest on a mossy rock by the path... and we'll be very, very quiet...
Would you like that? Let's just BE.

Hi everyone!
A pleasantly clean and fresh interior space for my most recent project. Modern with a splash of character giving this beautiful home a charm in it's own. This beautiful 1 bedroom home is situated on a rural destination with full double glazed windows bringing ample of light and airiness to the interior throughout the entire home. Pot lights in each space make the ceiling a seamless finish with accent lights in various rooms giving a punch of taste whilst remaining neutral and eye appealing. Timber slats have been used giving a earthy note with buffed stone finishes. Chrome faucets and appliances keep the home flush with the palate. A simple combination of tones with upholstery with a soft champagne hue for an accent, keeping it minimal and chic.

I've been busy for the past few days. After the sewing of the corona masks worked so well, I decided to try bigger things. I have long wanted to replace the ugly old upholstery covers in my camper Tiny House. It worked really well. Here they are.

What a day Monday was, a day of ups and downs, a day of photo-shooting... Not only did I spend the morning in the Courtyard by the Pavilion at The Regency, I spent the afternoon in a doctor's office in Laguna Hills with plenty of time for photos! I got interested in textures... This one of fabric is the last of three...
