I haven’t been active for a while. But I’m still working on my brickfilm. I have been busy with school. But I will start shooting in about a month. Almost all of the backgrounds are built, and the script’s finished. All I now need is some voice actors! I should make a casting call or something...
Took a short break from farm and leveling to spend some quality time updating my house interior and mostly the basement. With a more clean design instead of the mess i had.. still bit a waste of time with upcoming Shirogane district opening soon (mmnf medium house here i come.)
Updated safety gap across the terminals of the primary pulse capacitor of the Green Monster Tesla coil.

An updated photo of the Dire Avenger I (almost) finished yesterday. I've painted the crest on his helmet and cleaned up the faceplate markings.
In the Master Bath.
Most of the light fixtures in our house are gold and are starting to look rather shabby. I like the globes, but not the rusty-looking gold, so I updated this one with spray paint!
Ray removed it from the wall for me and I took off the globes. Then I sanded it down, primed it and painted it a fun shade of green. It was a very easy project and cost about $8, with plenty of paint and primer left over for another project.

In spite of their favorite feeder-approach limbs having been removed by the tree-wranglers, the small birds are finding their way to the feeders. (Shot into the light, this frame was a silhouette until "forced" to yield a bit of detail and color.)
For the record, theyre the same color o.0
but hopefully its less Chally like (top is new, bottom is old) with new skirts and fatter turret rear. Plus more cage.
so, Ciel got his new clothes and I completely didn't upload cos I was too busy. also a little peek at Mika and Rafaello
This is a new version of an old favorite design of mine using my handspun yarns. I do have a pattern for this.
I've made a new tumblr, new formspring, new youtube. I wanted to make a new Flickr. You know, start over. Have a fresh start. but I want your opinion on this also.
& when I make my new Flickr, I will post the link here.
NEW FLICKR!
Now that I have a bunch of weddings and portrait shoots in the upcoming months I decided that I should probably start updating my blog more often. So be sure to check it out and let me know what you think, I'm still working on formatting it.
I'm also looking for some comments on the newest post with the wedding photos. I edited them all in Alienskin Exposure 3, and was trying to go for a film look.
Comments, notes, and favs appreciated!
Back in March, Kathy and I went out to Dave's to see his new born calf (well it was a week or two old). Poor thing had a birth defect to it's foot. They tried putting a splint on it which didn't work very well -- and after some rough times the foot must have died and fallen off. A vet administered antibiotics and some salve and the...y waited to see what would happen. God worked a miracle through that little calf - not only did it not get an infection; the skin grew over the broken off foot and the calf is doing fine. Walking a little slow and not growing as fast as the other calves - but he seems happy and pain free. Here's a photo of the calf from last week. The little miracle calf - I'm still in awe that it not only survived; but is doing so well.
We have been upping the TEMPO in EduCare and making sure that everyone knows that the virus won’t BEAT us. We have settled into a nice RHYTHM with our learning and are seeing some wonderful learning going on! We are certainly spreading good VIBRATIONS.
Some of the things that have happened in EduCare over the past few weeks include:
Origami fortune tellers
Decorating paper box surprises
Making rockets for our (failed) rocket launching science experiment
Getting messy with paint, glue and string to make our Easter baskets (this was so much fun - I’d recommend trying this!)
and finally, TWO Easter egg hunts - one for the students, and one for the adults. They particularly enjoyed hiding chicks and foam eggs in places we couldn’t spot them.
