I was going through the roads of Chandni Chowk, Delhi. There I saw these people sitting on road side and reading newspaper.
So this is where I took this shot.
So an update on my fire damaged dolls. I mostly destunk them all by soaking their heads in airtight container full of white vinegar for a few days, and now they don’t smell like ashes unless you put your nose on their scalp and sniff. Which is a lot better than sitting three feet away and smelling them so I finally got around to painting the bits of paints that scrubbed off.
I gave 35th Anniversary Barbie dark lips but I think she looks super angry now lol.
Brunette TNT repro got new pupils styled like a Momoko’s cuz hey I’ll never get these dolls looking factory new so might as well have some fun.
Redhead got Takahashi style eye shines cuz it’s fun. And while the repro bodies are in okay condition now I just hate the TNT proportions so…. yea.

It is on a seedhead of a Yelloweyed Grass - Xyris species. The larva of a casebearing moth is also present--see adjacent images/observation.
My cactus graft update for December 2012. Got a nice flower on the Christmas cactus graft o put on it . Looks a bit different to the normal flowers they produce .

An update of the 1989 LEGO set 8854. Features steering, RWD with I4 engine, suspension, and crane boom with extension, lift, slewing, and winch.
(Update: The tall girl on the end died recently. The slum priest in the back keeps going, thirty-three years and counting. This is at an orphanage/hospice in Bangkok.)

More than sixty kids at the slum orphanage/hospice have HIV/AIDS. Every morning they're given their cocktail of drugs and then breakfast.
"The AIDS Brigade!" the slum priest calls out cheerfully, softly tapping fists with the children the way ballplayers greet one another, keeping the mood light because, as he routinely asks about such matters, "What's the alternative?"
In orphanage's open-air dining hall most of the AIDS Brigade crowds onto benches at two long wooden tables — a dozen or more on each bench, side-by-side, elbow-to-elbow. There's no jostling or shouting or even the customary low hum of crowded cafeterias. Five to six dozen children, nattily dressed in Thailand's school uniforms of royal blue and white or Carolina blue and pink, wait patiently for their bowls to be filled. They stand silently or talk quietly. Before sitting they recite in singsong an ecumenical prayer for the care of their mothers and fathers, dead and alive, and they give thanks for their teachers and caregivers.
The supplication — pitched softly to God or to the enlightened nature of the Buddha that resides within — finishes with a broader appeal for "bad people to become good."
Could we remind the world that the prophet muhammad (s) is dearer to us than our mothers, fathers, our selves and the everything in the world
Progress being made on our 150+ year-old farmhouse in eastern Iowa: the kitchen is tiled, the painting is done, our retro refrigerator is sitting in a box, the new porch is wired, a magnolia tree nearly destroy in the derecho still blooms, central air is installed, two little chairs were found to be refurnished for two little grandkids, and some graffiti of when Mary was 2 3/4 years old was uncovered.

The update totem made my old bunnies look like this! Fortunately, re-rezzing them solves the problem.
Well, it's been a year since my last MOC. I feel I need to give you some sort of explanation. Since September of 2016, I have participated in an exchange program my school has. I am currently going to school in Spain for a year (Did I mention I am bilingual?) Thus, I have no access to my LEGO blocks. It is a lovely country and it makes me feel right at home. Hasta Luego!
