Hello, this is my third video update on my weekend of cross-dressing. My apologies for the video quality, it was recorded in very low lighting conditions on my phone. I was too tired to setup any proper lighting and wanted to record my thoughts straight away.
The weekend has worked out differently to what I envisaged but I am delighted by it. I have never really cross-dressed on several consecutive days and was not prepared for the agony of sore skin after three days of super close facial shaving. I also found it a charged emotional experience that has exhausted me and impacted on my thinking and my approach to being Helene. It gave me a new focus and clarity which I intend to develop over the next year.
Of course, being me, I fully intend to document these changes of direction. I is nothing that involves transition, hormones, surgery, consulting the medical profession, none of that, it’s more zeroing in on what I like and enjoy and want to experience as a woman (it doesn’t involve men!). I always feel Helene is like the teenage girl discovering herself and experimenting with make-up, hair and clothing. I wore so many dresses and pairs of high heels this weekend that I found myself thinking I needed to focus on the clothes I felt good wearing, the hair I felt enhanced my appearance and a totally refocused approach to how I wear make-up. I can summarise that by saying my focus has intensified upon wanting to spend time in the world as a woman not a man. Let me clarify again, I’m not talking transition more when I dress as Helene for the period I am dressed as her I desire to be a woman for that time. I want my male self to be gone when I am Helene.
I think I finally reached the point emotionally where I realised this is what I want to do and I feel very excited about doing it in the future. It will in reality be me cross-dressing as a woman but the big changes are how I feel about it within myself and what I want to experience. In the past I have always felt like a man dressed up as a woman. I am in reality exactly that but emotionally this weekend I felt I had ceased to be a man and become female for a few hours. It was powerful, intoxicating and emotionally highly charged.
It wasn’t like a deep coming out experience more like I finally found my path and new where I was going. So next year the development of Helene is, and acknowledge this may sound delusional, that I cease being a cross-dressing male and become a (part-time) woman. The inner confidence boost and comfort this has induced is quite incredible. I feel good about this.
We all have our own needs in regard to why we cross-dress and what we personally want from it. I know what I always dreamed of was being female and not male. Unfortunately, my body is that of a male so I need to be open to wearing the clothes that will actually work and help that I am perceived as being a woman when I transform myself into Helene. I’m going to very open minded on this, I want it to be right. I don’t like the phrase blending in, it suggests being invisible. I don’t desire invisibility. I know as a woman I like being chatty and interacting and yes, I like to feel a bit sexy and flirty. I want to look good as a woman as well. I don’t have a pretty face or amazingly feminine body so I think it’s a case of ensuring I get the combination of hair, make-up and clothing that makes the most of my physicality and hopefully I an look attractive and stylish as a woman
I don’t mind attention, I just want to look as female as I can and wear stylish female clothes that look nice and help with my confidence. Not so much blending in as being feminine and stylish.
I hope that doesn’t come across as a big ego and vanity trip, that is genuinely not what I want. I just want to be a contented woman and enjoy nice stylish clothes and to feel good about it all as I spend time out and about as Helene. It’s the day time rather the night time I feel a big pull towards. I want to be a woman amongst other people in daylight, the biggest challenge with my looks!
I think at some point in our lives we all find the path for our cross-dressing, I am delighted I finally found mine, it took me to being age 60 though! It’s never too late!
Yeh, another update. Despite being only half-way through my exams, I'm finding enough time to make small alterations to my current WIP; the twin-tailed helicopter.
So, on the left, you can see the changes made to the cockpit. It looks much better now, I think. The pictures to the middle and right show the landing gear solution I'm most likely going to use on my helicopter.
Suggestions for improvement are greatly appreciated!

This is my third (ughhhh) SHIPtember wip attempt. Based largely on this great concept: www.flickr.com/photos/lego_robots_7/30718332458/in/photos... . I had a great backstory for the second ship I was attempting but the shape wasn't really working for me. I pulled some components and the story from that and I am much happier with this one. And the background is one I made in blender.
I am also currently working to get instructions made for the Brickheadz Hulkbuster. Stay tuned for those.
Allllllssoooooo: Wow! The Constitution jumped far beyond 100 supporters yesterday and numbers are still rising. I am working on sail patterns and a new render that will blow away the previous one. It's a busy time!

Sooo, a small update.
Finally I had a viable idea to shorten the arms of the grabber, so in the next step it made sense trying to cut down the length of the mechanics.
The loader itself is easily made three instead of four studs wide, another half stud was won by using only a flat cogwheel instead of a whole, so now the whole thingy is two studs shorter, and better in proportions.
The rear axle could go another stud to the front, making weight distribution more plausible.
Rummaging through my boxes I found a 32291 connector piece in dark grey, replacing the blue (only visible when the tipper unit is active).
Addition to Toy Project Day 2330
Changed the head to the new imperial gunner head and finaly got the same hairpiece as minifigs4u's render!
UPDATE – Oct. 14th
I know it’s been a LONG time since I’ve posted something on here, and I know people have been asking for updates (rightly so) – so I figured I’d provide some in a simple post here.
Two things must be made clear first – 1) my printer, who I’ve worked with forever and who produces the best prints of any printer I’ve worked with, has become very successful this past year and as such is trying to catch up with the growth of their business. As such, their times to process orders has more than tripled since the beginning of the year. This has caused many of the prints and test prints, etc. to be delayed by more than 2 months each. So things are slower to get printed now than ever before. 2) we are very close to getting our setup exactly as we need it with the injection mold company that we work with so that our parts are to the exact specifications and quality that we want, and that you expect. The injection molding process, and learning what is needed to create good parts, has been a huge learning process for us. The good news is that after months and months of working and tweaking things, we are very close to having our first parts (for Night Crusader and Original Super Soldier – and 1 surprise figure) ready to send to the printer.
With that being said, here’s some updates on some figs coming soon…
Homemade Arachnid Hero
Our first update will be for all those who ordered the Homemade Arachnid Hero. We are anticipating that this figure will be sent out to our presales customers and resellers the last weekend of October (2 weeks from now) and will go on sale on the website a week or two after that. We will try to post pictures as soon as he arrives.
Night Crusader
The test prints for the Night Crusader have been finalized and approved and we are all ready to go to print it. I usually don’t share pictures of the figures before they are completed, but since you all have been waiting so patiently for this figure, I thought I’d bend at least one rule to make you feel confident in your upcoming fig). However, we are awaiting the injection molded parts to arrive, so that we can align the head print exactly with the cowl part (we want to make sure his eyes are aligned correctly in those hole). We received the most recent samples from the mold and we still need to make a couple of final adjustments, so that it is to the exact quality that I know we all expect from the top customizers. He should be completed before Black Friday (week of Thanksgiving), if everything goes to plan. I will post an update if that is any sooner.
Original Super Soldier
The custom helmet part is being completed at the same time as the Night Crusader cowl, as they share the same mold, and as such is facing many of the same needs for updated changes. However, we are still also processing the prints still for this figure. The hope is that this will be available a couple weeks after Night Crusader is released.
Surprise New Figure
Along with the Original Super Soldier, we will be releasing a third, not yet published custom figure that will include 1 custom headpiece and a printed accessory. I think you guys should be very happy and surprised by this guy – can’t wait to show you! When the part is completed and we send him in for printing, we’ll provide a render of him to let you know what’s coming!
That’s all for now. I would first and foremost like to thank you all for your unwavering patience and kind understanding while I bring Phoenix Customs to a new era of custom figs. However, this kind of growth is not without hiccups and challenges, that is for sure. What IS for sure, is that we are not going to be bringing about products that can’t compete with the best out there. We will NOT sacrifice quality. We want to bring our figures to the next evolution, where unique custom parts and top quality printing go hand-in-hand. We can’t wait to bring these pre-ordered figs to life in the next couple months and to show you what we have in store for the coming months of the new year! So many good figs that I can’t wait to release!!

An updated group of figs from the Borderlands series that I brought to BFVA '19, except for the new additions of the Calypso Twins from the upcoming BL3. I meant to make these two while at the con, but I never had the time/inspiration. But here they are now!
Zin had some more diarrhea today... I think it might be getting a little better though.
Zin is drinking, eating, and playing normally. I'm trying to keep him (i think Zin is a boy now!) as hydrated as I can!

Finally, after many months working on this update, I am excited to show you a preview of the NEW HUD, and here’s the new changes.
- There will be a total of 480 colors divided into two packs: Naturals Basic (consisting of Blondes, Browns, Greyscale, and Reds color packs) with 240 colors, and Colorful Basic (comprising Colored Highlights, Mix, Pastels, and Ombres color packs) with another 240 colors. Each pack will include the HUD and 1 style of hair only with lesser triangles without the hidden styles.
- Different style options are now sold separately. This pack is called “Style Pack” and will work slightly different because it’s not a style HUD, but different hair meshes only, and there is a pack called Back to Basic pack included which contains separate styles of hair and can be unpacked by sizes (this version will have significantly fewer triangles as it excludes hidden style options and is lower in complexity). Please note that the Style Pack requires the HUD to function, and you must own a basic pack first before purchasing this pack, this is just an upgrade pack to expand the different style options.
Change Log:
- New HUD Appearance with Dark/Light Mode
- Added new materials buttons
- Added new Extra Tab
- Ability to delete the hair receiver script
- Added BOM Alpha Mask with Regular SL UV and Evo X UV
- Any style related features for Basic hair will not work and will notify you in nearby chat

Updated shot of my custom X-Men, now I just need Vic to reprint Beast and Kyle to do his Jean Grey and I'll be set.
An update showing the changes in the egg I uploaded recently (www.flickr.com/photos/pogspix/19703169310). The egg has now changed shape slightly, has changed colour from a yellowish colour to a pale green, and I can now see detail in it. This image was taken with my 100mm macro, and is a HUGE crop.
The left arrow is pointing to what I think might be a caterpillar's clasper. Does anyone agree?
The top right arrow is an air bubble.
The bottom right arrow shows some dark pigment inside the egg.
Yesterday, I also saw some small red lines, maybe part of the head, but I'm just guessing.
In fact, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I'm generally against interfering. However, I noticed Eggbert only having removed some new growth from an old willow tree stump in the garden. I felt really guilty, so took the leaf, and have kept it in a container in a cool(ish) place indoors.
If Eggbert hatches, I'm not sure whether I should plunge him back out into the horrible Scottish weather, or whether I should try to rear him on a bit in the comfort he's now used to, although I don't exactly know what I'm doing, beyond confirming what he is (Dave Maunder kindly suggested poplar hawk moth, which would be super exciting), providing the correct food, and keeping his container cleaned out.

Okay guys, I know I haven't posted in a while, but I have my reasons. (Long story, though). For now, here's this: a shot from my stop-motion.
So far, out of six scenes, I have four done. I *think* that I have made some serious progress, having started in September. I think that I may be ready before my initial planned date (January).
In this scene, the Jedi has broken free of his cell, and a guard arrives to see what all of the commotion was. It would be the last thing he sees.......

Literally out of space, 10 cases deep, a bunch not even opened/displayed yet. Hey guys. Sorry for the lack of activity, it's 50% being busy, and 50% laziness. Don't get me wrong, I'm still here checking Flickr multiple times daily. But today I left for vacation! And while in most cases this would mean yet another week of inactivity, all the riding in the car will give me some time to reflect and write. So for the next week I have a new issue of Vortex to upload, that will reveal many important things for the story arc to come. Also a quick competition entry! But here's a question. Would you guys like to see another week where I post a character bio daily? Or should I wait longer to reveal them? This time they would be villains though.
So about this picture. ITS NOT CANON. Alot of super hero teams have an older version of themselves, like a team in the 80's that eventually failed. That is not the. case with mine. or at least not this specific group here. When I first joined Flickr this is the group I had planned. But I came in hotheaded and it ended up being a terrible mess full of last minute decisions and changes. I updated some of them compared to when I first made them. Some I scrapped, some of them stayed, some were changed.

Trident - I think he was like the prince of Atlantis or something. He was a, good guy but really impatient. He was gonna eventually turn evil. Might use him in the future, probably not though.
Mr. Jekyll - Im pretty sure the original was green and had red hair, but I threw this guy together. I actually really liked him, but then I got the idea for Guerrilla and one thing led to another, then he was replaced. Still got plans for him.
Titanic - Still using him. Really hasn't changed.
Iron Lady - Squeem basically owns the character now. I honestly forgot I made her until they made one like her using the HulkBuster, asking for name ideas. Wouldn't even have noticed if Andhe hadn't reminded me. I would have thrown together the original but I was about to leave, will probably post a picture of it when I get back.
Vortex - Yep totally scrapped this guy never gonna make a series for him ever. Nope.
Beast? Mammal? Wulf? -I honestly can't remember what his name was. He could grow the body parts or attributes of any mammal. i.e. Horns, bat wings, sharp teeth. Still gonna use him.
Talon - Ended up making some backstory changes. Original design never changed.
So here is my original plans for the team. Be expecting a Vortex issue sometime in the next few days, Im planning on uploading more frequently before school starts too.
Man, I finally got around to posting this...lol.
I found the Lego Bionicle Lord Of Skull Spiders (a discontinued set) at this store while on vacation about a month back, so I decided to pick it up because I wasn't able to buy it when it was originally out. And I also made a Lego.Com order about two weeks ago consisting of the Lego Marvel Tanker Truck Takedown and Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum, along with the Lego Star Wars Encounter on Jakku set. All of them are fantastic sets!
Speaking of Bionicle, it's a shame it has ended once again, but I think we all knew it wouldn't last that long due to it being weak in story and lore compared to Generation 1 and it not having very good sales. Anyway, my summer has been pretty uneventful and I've been kind of depressed lately, but otherwise, everything is good I guess. My birthday was on Saturday, but I didn't even care so I didn't post a picture or anything. I've been cutting grass all summer saving up for some of those Lego Rogue One sets once they come out September 30th and I'm also saving for a PS4. Hoping to get that by Christmas time, along with a few games for it. I hope you're all having a good Labor Day unlike me. This is my last day of summer and I start school tomorrow and I'm dreading it. But yeah, guys. That's pretty much all for now! Take care.
I extended the arms and legs by one stud and I made a completely new head. Inspired by Steelex's Clayface. Does it look better than the older one?
I was perusing my archives this morning when I stumbled upon this picture again. It remains one of my favorites, so today I recreated it.
It feels weird to think that I took the original 5 years ago, before I completed my 365. That feels like a lifetime ago, it really does.
