My plan yesterday was to work in the yard, but it was much too wet. Instead, I repainted this bookcase to use in my living room. This little bookcase has quite a history. For the past few years it has been sitting in the reading corner of my classroom. I found this bookcase in the basement of our house on Cambridge Street. That was in 1982, in other words, thirty-one years ago. It was painted a pale green then. We repainted it bright red to use in my daughter's bedroom. Years later it was painted royal blue to match my son's desk. Now it is bright turquoise. This is to hold all the books that tend to get piled around my favorite chair. It's not going to make it back into my classroom.

There is good and bad news; let's start off with the bad. I have a bunch of MOCs which I would like to post on the pages, but my computer is dead, and the charger is broken. So basically, I will be putting my MOCs here, so check here for updates.

Sorry flickr friends I have not been around lately but I have been extremely ill. The doctors are narrowing down things dealing with my health. Its not good, so it takes all i have to get through the day. read about it here:

So I was lucky enough to talk to 2 vets this morning! My vet called from home, and then another vet at the clinic called not knowing she had called so I was able to talk each of their ears off!
Finn's results came back with an elevated Pancreas level but everything else is in the normal range! Yippee!! (Last time his numbers were all over the place so at least that is much better.) The new special diet should help him put some weight back on since it's a higher calorie diet designed specifically fro pancreas problems. Both vets feel he does have chronic pancreatitis and it's something we will have to manage carefully. Next week were are going to get another test done to see if his pancreas is digesting enzymes properly. It's a complicated disease but if the results show he is not digesting them properly there is a supplement he can take for that. In the mean time he seems to love the new food:)
Just got back from a long walk with Finn and Chester so now it's time to go into the grooming shop and clean these shaggamuffin's up!

So here is what i've got for this week. My shipment of Brickarsenal weapons came in, and by far one of my favorite sellers. Even got a free proto <3
Here is some of the cast for the series. We have the Offical TRA forces, now rearmed with the BA M16. Hidden in the backround is a very important figure. Can you guess who it is? :P
To the side we have 2 Russian Winter forces who will play a major role, hint hint. The man in the back with the grills is a wildcard, because I don't know his story yet. Suggestions? All I know is he will be Anarchist.

He is a British National who is good friends with Governor Hawkins. He was trapped in America when the bombs blew. He is mysterious to the people of Texas. He is Hawkins right hand man, as it seems they have a history before the bombs.

Little update on the ol' Flickr.
As you can probably see, the ol' Flickr hasn't been updated as much in the past couple years or so. While there's been a massive decline in going to shows for me, I'm still truckin' on. 2018 has been a pretty sweet year for me personally in the non-photography areas of my life....lots of travel, new friends....but one thing still holds....Vancouver is still home....so you'll still see me hangin' out...whether it be at the Toast Collective, new Red Gate (old Vivo) or the Astoria or wherever.
I'll still be uploading to Flickr but you can find me on the ol' Instagram and will probably be on the ol' Twitter.

I've had some more work done. Thought I should upload a new photo. I'll work on taking better self portraits and not just use Photobooth. :)
Much nicer edges, new power jack, on-sleep switch. With the switch in the up position, the system is put to sleep as if the lid is closed (new wires soldered onto the sleep sensing reed switch) and in the down position, it turns the machine on, then springs back up.
So an update on my fire damaged dolls. I mostly destunk them all by soaking their heads in airtight container full of white vinegar for a few days, and now they don’t smell like ashes unless you put your nose on their scalp and sniff. Which is a lot better than sitting three feet away and smelling them so I finally got around to painting the bits of paints that scrubbed off.
I gave 35th Anniversary Barbie dark lips but I think she looks super angry now lol.
Brunette TNT repro got new pupils styled like a Momoko’s cuz hey I’ll never get these dolls looking factory new so might as well have some fun.
Redhead got Takahashi style eye shines cuz it’s fun. And while the repro bodies are in okay condition now I just hate the TNT proportions so…. yea.
