A striking close-up of a whimsical wooden sculpture found in the artistic enclave of Christiania, Copenhagen. Crafted from reclaimed timber, this geometrically stylized face captures the playful spirit and eco-conscious creativity of this self-proclaimed freetown.

And it didn’t go well.

Hahaha… oh, well, maybe next time.

Here are some of the doll faces I have drawn to use as patterns for my silly little dolls. I embroider the faces on recycled upholstery fabric, then sew up the dolls and fill them with recycled plastic grocery bags. Some of the dolls have gone to Canada, England, Ireland and places in the US to be part of IYTI free street art exhibits or other free art recycled exhibits.

One of two collages I made today. (The other is still drying.) They are test runs for a bigger project… my niece’s June bridal shower for her November wedding in Toulouse. And YES! I already have my tickets! ♥️💙

Please ignore the pencil marks; I didn’t trust myself to create a heart without some guidance. And looking at this like this, I see where I could add more buttons.

Just wait until you see more of the floral book art created by Dr. Lisa Meek of BiblioBotany. As a physician who specializes in cosmetic and restorative medicine, it's evident that her interest in artistry extends beyond that of the human form to the beauty and language of natural plants.
