Ok here are the shots from a very recent very out of the blue last minute shoot with designer and all round sweet heart Erica Stagg. Prior to the shoot I think weβd talked once Iβd never seen the collection and had no idea what I was shooting and went out on a whim hoping the location was well, more than suitable and turns out it was more than adequate, so here are the shots from Erica Staggβs 2009/2010 summer capsule rangeβ¦
I know I say this all the time for a lot of the shoots I work on but Ericaβs range is nothing far from amazing, the concept behind each piece is clear in plain sight and well executed, with each piece really speaking for itself, and Anna our model despite coming straight from a viewing and been dead tired pulled of every shot and let both herself and the garments equally as powerful frame after frame, and letβs just say wasnβt afraid to get her hands dirtyβ¦
Big thanks to Erica for letting my concept to come through in the shots and having it been a little bit more collaborative than usual and letting me try some new techniques, regardless of how the shots looked these were shot in full daylight in the middle of the day and mid afternoon using a kind of light masking technique Iβm trying much like they use in the twilight movies only a little different and my own creationβ¦
Big thanks to all the girls for putting up with me as usual I know itβs a hard task and they did without complaint, so here are the shots enjoyβ¦

The LegCo (Legislative Council) election in Hong Kong is just finished and I am happy to see many new faces in the political scene.
Wish you a great day!
This is repost of a picture taken in the Santa Claus parade 2014.
It is always happy to see the up and coming rising stars. Such as Michael Jackson while he was still in Jackson 5, or reading Alice Munro when she first published her novel "Dance of the Happy Shades".
What is the most memorable up and coming rising star you have seen in the recent years?
This is candid taken in Rogers Santa Claus Parade last Sunday in downtown Vancouver.
Have a great Tuesday!

My friend Chelsea is a force to be reckoned with and one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met. She also happens to be an amazing singer. Her website is low on merch because her merch is frickin awesome. Go watch the videos and buy her music if you like what you hear. She also once gave a Ted talk, not bad for a 28 year old from the Red River Gorge area of Kentucky. My local musician friends are having one helluva time trying to financially survive right now. Sheβs got a laid off husband and two dogs to feed. Tell her Dead Betty sent ya! www.chelseanolanmusic.com

Although I was in Florida for a short time, it was amazing and beautiful. I knew while I was down there, that I was going to take pictures of the sunrise, but unfortunately most days were cloudy in the morning. I took some anyway, and as I walked back to the hotel, I saw this, and knew I had to take a picture of it.

The road (partially seen) running diagonally from the bottom of the image to the mid-right, is the famous Madison Avenue, from 30th East Street to 25th East Street.
This is most of NoMad ("NOrth of MADison Square Park"), a neighbourhood centred on the Madison Square North Historic District in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. The area is described on some websites as New York's hottest up-and-coming neighbourhood. Certainly some of the apartments advertised in those four blocks are enormous...
The name NoMad, which has been in use since 1999, is derived from the areaβs location north of Madison Square Park. The neighborhood is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th or East 30th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue (Avenue of the Americas) to the west and Madison or Lexington Avenue to the east.
The building in the bottom left corner of the image is 79 Madison Avenue, a 17-storey, 250,000-square-foot Art Deco building with a beautiful entrance featuring a restored marble lobby, inspiring chandeliers and a gold leaf ceiling.
Dominating the mid-right of the image is the New York Life Insurance Building, located at 51 Madison Avenue, across from Madison Square Park. It is the headquarters of the New York Life Insurance Company. Designed in 1926 by Cass Gilbert, who also designed the landmark Woolworth Building, it was apparently inspired by Salisbury Cathedral in Wiltshire. It rises 40 stories to its pyramidal gilded roof and occupies the full block between 26th and 27th Streets, Madison Avenue and Park Avenue South, a rarity in Manhattan. The building is 187m tall and was the last significant Gilbert skyscraper in Manhattan.
Previously, from 1837β1889, the site was occupied by the Union Depot of the New York and Harlem and the New York and New Haven Railroads, a concert garden, and P T Barnum's Hippodrome. Until 1925, the site housed the first two Madison Square Gardens, the second one designed by architect Stanford White.
The building was completed in 1928 after two years of construction at the cost of $21 million. It combines streamlined Gothic details and distinctly Moderne massing. The gold pyramid at the top consists of 25,000 gold-leaf tiles. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark in the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
This image was take from atop the Empire State Building and is scanned from a negative.

One week was all I spent in Paris. Surrounding by a different language, culture, ethnicities, food, and atmosphere, You could basically say that I was an alien. A foreign one. Some say you have to get uncomfortable to try new experiences, and this place was the pinnacle. But when I left, I couldnt have been more happy that I came, but also sad to leave. Reality awaited me in the States as well as a 6 hour flight from Charles De Gaulle to Philidelphia International Airport. I believe that this photo captures the way I felt on my last day as i tried to soak all of Paris in before I left, and honestly this picture can really only capture a hint of what Paris has to offer. The City of Love, Culinary/Fashion Capital, and a City with memories that will stay with me forever. Vive la France.....
Courtesy to my sister for this shot.
You know you have someone special in your life, when you both are able to coexist and help each other grow while letting each other go to manifest their dreams.
