Me at Alamere Falls.
Alamere Falls in Point Reyes National Seashore is a fun hike. BF & I have done it three times now. You drive until you see an unsigned road by a white house, turn towards the ocean, and keep driving back until you deadend. It's a popular hike, being A) in California and B) not being far from San Francisco, but it's worth the hike. It's about 8-miles around trip, and you get great views of the ocean along the way to the falls.
To get to the falls themselves, one must go down an unmaintained path (which is thick with poison oak - my arm looked like a tree trunk after getting poison oak from there). After getting close the falls, one must scramble down a eroding hillside to get to a small fall and get close to the top of Alamere. To truly see Alamere Falls, one must scramble down eroding buckets of talus to get to the beach to see Alamere Falls in all its glory. And what glory it is! Always be sure to pack plenty of long sleeves/pants & warm clothes on this hike.

Beautiful Vintage Unsigned 1 3/4" Long Asian Motif Enamel Accent Pendant with a High Green Translucent Glass Cab. From the back, I could see an air bubble so I knew it wasn't stone. Not sure of metal content--has a coppery tone on scan, but my guess is brass. VERY Beautiful in Person! Item has not been thoroughly cleaned or polished. Wonderful Vintage Asian Motif Find!
