JAKE: «Die Karre hier. Vollkommen idiotisches Ding. Wo's der Cadillac? Der Caddy? Wo ist der Caddy?»
ELWOOD: «Der was?»
JAKE: «Der Cadillac den wir damals hatten! Das Bluesmobil!»
ELWOOD: «Ich hab's eingetauscht.»
JAKE: «Du hast das Bluesmobil gegen DIE Schaukel eingetauscht?»
ELWOOD: «Nein… für ein Mikrofon.»
JAKE: «Für ein Mikrofon? …

JAKE: “This car. This stupid car. Where's the Cadillac? The Caddy? Where's the Caddy?”
ELWOOD: “The what?”
JAKE: “The Cadillac we used to have! The Bluesmobile!”
ELWOOD: “Traded it.”
JAKE: “You traded the Bluesmobile for this piece of shit?”
ELWOOD: “No ... for a microphone.”
JAKE: “A microphone? … Okay, I can see that….”
(from "Blues Brothers")
Secretary has never traded a car for a microphone, but a few years ago he would have been quite capable...

The M 534 of the UHER-Werke Munich (probably manufactured by an OEM) is a dynamic directional microphone with cardioid polar pattern. It was - probably in the 1960s/1970s - offered by UHER as an accessory to its famous tape recorders.
Not only externally, but according to experts also in its characteristics it clearly reminds of the famous Sennheiser MD 421, which is still on the market in a slightly revised version.
The specimen shown here comes from Secretary's grandfather.
but just for a few days...heading to Dallas for my Dad's 85th bday. Will be back on Tuesday to check in on all your fab postings...
Work has been keeping me way too busy...hope to be around a bit more in coming weeks... :-)

I built this set for a theme party we had last week. There are so many place to take photos, I want to leave it up for a few days. If you would like to shoot, feel free to drop by. Just pick up after yourself. - maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kiwi%20Island/109/131/1001
