Organised by my good friend Lee Hunter, this was Teesside's own premier costume, comics and sci fi event. What better way to spend a Saturday than making over 1000 people smile. Thanks to our star guest, the gorgeous Femi Taylor (Oola in Return of the Jedi), everyone who attended and who took part for helping to make the event such a great success - you were all TU4-some!

"I loooove going for walks, but let me tell you something. I hate the leash. Hate it! I just want to bite it and chew it off and bury it somewhere. I simply must be free. I promise I won't run away if you take me out...well, not for too long. Just long enough to raid a couple of trash cans. I'll even bring you some leftover pizza if I find any."

11:50 –12:50 GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE AND VIEWPOINTS
VIEWPOINT: UNLEASHING CORPORATE CHINA: SOEs AND PRIVATE ENTERPRISE
China’s State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) have been an integral part of China’s development for the past 30 years, creating wealth and jobs for millions of people. Yet some experts believe that SOEs make it difficult for private companies to launch, compete and grow. What changes are needed in the system and how can Beijing create a more level playing field? Are private-public partnerships the solution? Is there sufficient will for reform and, if so, who will champion it?
