The Cloisters (also known as The Undercroft) connect the East and West quadrangles and lead inside the Gilbert Scott Building to the stunning Bute Hall, where the University’s graduation ceremonies are held, and the Hunterian Museum. With their fluted columns and transverse ribbed vault, these impressive archways are an iconic part of the University, and have been seen onscreen in many films and TV shows including Cloud Atlas and Outlander.
After working industries in University Park, CN R960 shoves over Route 50 with IC #3107 set to lead the train back to Kankakee. The train will pick up several centerbeams at BlueLinx before heading south.
2DWF theme = Door(s). Here's a bunch of doors at Princeton University, New Jersey. And a jogger in the doorway too. Such a cool looking building!!
Finally.. I've started making "collections" in Lightroom to help me to organize all the pics I've taken. (I'm reading a Lightroom book by the great Scott Kelby who said to use Collections in LR, rather than folders on your hard drive to organize all your pics. Collections make "virtual links" to the files no matter where they are on your hard drive.) Anyhoo.. so I made a Princeton collection. So many pics I haven't even gone though yet! But now I want to go back!! lol.. It's just a few towns over. TTFN. ;-)

Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. Not happy with this one, but will have to do for now as I wanted a general shot of the department building and I did find the staircase interesting!
On a day when light rain falling at a time of the year when it should be snow, I walked from Sapporo Station to Hokkaido University hoping to find some picturesque views.
