Le soleil se lève, et la période des beaux ciels est de retour...je sors de chez moi...le ventoux s’ illumine à gauche, le vieux chêne au milieu et le soleil...voilà de quoi recharger les batteries....beau dimanche à tous

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!
Today we have a red day at Color My World Daily and the theme at Macro Mondays is : Translucent.
This is a perfect theme for another one of my obsessions : glass marbles ! So yes, another glass marble picture for today. This time I used my favorite light, my iPhone flashlight but I put the marble directly on a flick light (I put my red background with a hole in it and then I put the marble on). My younger son Borys (he is 10) was truly mesmerized by the result. We spent the whole evening looking through glass marbles and taking pictures of the tiny and unique universes each one of them contains. It was an exploration of parallel universes for both of us lol
This glass marble is about 1,5 cm of diameter and it was our favorite one. Borys was ready to move in inside the glass marble right away and me too !

La cité du vin à Bordeaux ... France
Située sur le site des vieilles forges du grand port maritime , dans le nouveau quartier des bassins à flot , sur l' îlot compris entre le quai , l ' entrée des écluses et La Garonne .
La structure a une forme de cep de vigne , recouverte de 918 panneaux de verre clair , gris et doré et de 2300 panneaux d' aluminium irisés .
La tour culmine à 55 m .

Le solstice d’hiver approche. Ici, c’est un moment où le froid impose une pause propice à porter le regard plus loin, au-delà des nuages, là où tout a commencé.
Le temps est venu de vous saluer tous et de vous remercier de partager votre passion pour la photographie et l’art. Merci de votre appui, certains d’entre-vous depuis de nombreuses années. Un remerciement très spécial à Irina Dimulescu et à Catherine Péré qui m’ont encouragé à aller de l’avant avec mon projet - Le Monde de Poësia - un projet qui verra le jour, je l’espère, en 2023.

Ce monde improbable est resté à l’écart des routes humaines fréquentées
Inconnu des personnages et des récits fantastiques eux-mêmes.
Ce monde est l’un des continents de Poësia,
Un univers imaginé que je créé une image à la fois
Comme les pages au contenu toujours imprévisible d’un roman épique
Où l’imaginaire défie la réalité du monde concret
Avec autant d’intensité, de présence et d’insistance
que les mondes magiques qui habitent le coeur des enfants.

Image après image.
Là-bas, j’ai installé une petite tente rouge, pour vous accueillir.
Je l’ai placé sur un monticule visible de tous les horizons
Pour que vous puissiez trouver votre chemin dans cet univers que j’ai voulu sans frontière.

This unlikely world has stayed away from busy human roads
Unknown to characters and fantastic stories themselves.
This world is one of the continents of Poësia,
An imagined universe that I create one image at a time
Like the ever-unpredictable pages of an epic novel
Where the imaginary challenges the reality of the concrete world
With as much intensity, presence and insistence
as the magical worlds that inhabit the hearts of children.
Page after page.
Image after image.
There, I installed a small red tent, to welcome you.
I placed it on a mound visible from all vistas
So that you can find your way in this universe that I wanted without borders.

Metelkova is one of the weirdest places to see in Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital. Formerly, the site was the Slovenian headquarter of the Yugoslav National Army. The buildings have been squatted since September 1993 in a declared illegal way, mainly by artists, activists and young students. In 2005, Metelkova was declared a national cultural heritage site and the European Cultural Fund attributes financial support. If you like graffiti, weird art, and quirky sculptures then this is the place to head to.
