The annual Hyde Park Unity Day is an event I shoot at regularly, providing a good selection of areas and themes to shoot. Being child free (yay) this year I have been able to focus on the bands and live music, and of course the ever lovely crowd.

today is German Unity Day [3 October], marking the reunification of Germany (Deutsche Wiedervereinigung) that took place on this day in 1990, in which the German Democratic Republic (GDR) became part of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG)
watching the news of the wall coming down in 1989 is something i might always remember
